DO NOT ORDER FROM 2MODERN!

"Here is the email I just sent to 2Modern's customer service department. This was in response to an email I received from them demanding a tracking number for the return within 5 days or they would refuse the return.

1. I have never been asked to provide tracking information on a return in 10+ years of frequent online shopping, much less with the threatening and aggressive tone of the email I received from you on June 17, attached below.

2. The vast majority of online retailers in 2022 offer free shipping and returns. It cost me over $60 to return these items to you. I ordered two colors of the same product so that I could see which color worked best in my space, and kept the color that worked, which is a common practice. I could understand you charging for return shipping of furniture or some other bulky item, but these were bath mats.

3. The color I ended up returning was listed on your website as the same color, but on receipt they were absolutely not. One was solid grey and the other was heavily heathered, so I would have returned them anyway, as they are intended for the same bathroom.

4. For the above listed reasons I would not order from your site again.

Worst Customer Service!!

"I would give this company zero stars if I could. DO NOT BUY from them. I purchased an table and 6 chairs, spending over $4,0000 on them. I received them and loved the way they looked, I put them on my completely covered balcony and less than one week later one of the chairs had a stain on it. I contacted their customer service and was given the cleaning instructions and the stain did not go away, I followed up and said that I would like to return the chairs since I was nervous that the chairs would all be stained if this happened in less than a week. Sherri, in customer service said that since I had them on the balcony they were not actually outdoor chairs, to which I said they should not stain that easily, but that I wanted to return the other 5, Sherri then said that since I did not have the original boxes I could not return them- mind you- they advertise that they offer white glove service which includes assembling your purchase and removing the boxes! I have no recourse from them! I have NEVER worked with a company like this! Do not use them there are many other businesses that stand by their products- this is not one of them!!!"

SAVE YOURSELF A HEADACHE AND DO NOT ORDER FROM 2 MODERN

"I waited a long time for my order to arrive and when it finally did the color was not the same as what was represented on the site. When I called to see what to do I was told that I would have to pay a 150.00 to 200.00 at least fee to ship it back. Then I emailed the owner and go response. TERRIBLE COMPANY!!!!!!!!!!!!!! "

Poor customer service

"I am glad reading the other reviews that I am that alone in such horrible customer service. Their representatives are very hostile and apparently hate providing customer service. On their site, the photo showed chrome and I ordered the light and it came in white. I talked to sales and then service for a return and they each referred me to the other department and both departments were rude. When I called today I asked about my return slip that hasn't come to me after 1.5 weeks of inquiry they hung up on me after they told me that they will contact me and don't contact them. Reading the other reviews, I guess that is generally how they react. allmodern.com is a better site."

Worst Service Ever

"Worst customer service I have ever…
Worst customer service I have ever experienced. Ordered 2 patio chairs. Long story short...order seems to be lost. 2 modern says they shipped it and their shipping company says that they tried to pick it up from 2 modern and they said it wasn't ready. 2 modern said that if I wanted to cancel this order, that Is lost, I would have to pay for the return shipping. How do they ship something they can't seem to find?

HORRIBLE, HORRIBLE, HORRIBLE

"RUDE, AWFUL "customer service". They don't listen, they talk over you and are everything but customer centric. Misleading information about their product. They call it stone but what they sell is plastic. Other resellers of the same product are not liars like 2modern. Not one polite person on the phone. Impossible to talk to, inflexible.

Lost my money

"I contacted them 1 day after receiving the wrong item, and they won't accept return because " I discarded the original packaging and they only accepts returns in the original packaging". Now I am left with a $500 chair I have no use for. Horrible. Will NEVER buy from them again "

Good as always

"I ordered 4 barstools for my new kitchen and it was super easy/painless. They held the shipment on my request because there was a delay with my contractor. Kept me in the loop the whole way and I was really impressed with their service. Also, I love the stools and so do all my friends :)"

This company does not ship orders and does not respond to emails

"I placed an order with them more than 2 weeks ago for a bedroom set. The order is in progress perpetually and all emails to the company goes unanswered. Save yourself some headache and order from wayfair/all modern instead. I will be starting a dispute process with my credit card company soon. Horrible!"

Very Good Experience

"I just had a pretty large order (redesigned my living room). I ordered 4 lights, 2 ceiling fans, a sofa, two chairs and a coffee table. I love them all, but one of the ceiling fans was broken (not sure if it was defective or damaged during shipping). 2Modern hopped on it right away and replaced it. I was actually surprised that online support could be that good. "

Top Notch Support

"I've had a lot of experience ordering online and 2Modern might be the best (in any category). I've probably ordered 12 items over the past 2 years and have been very happy with the experience. Not everything works out perfectly, but when it doesn't, they step up and make it as painless as possible. I've had a couple of orders that I needed to return and one damaged item. They made it so pleasant, which is why I work with them over anyone else. "
