"product arrived faster than expected in 1 day (i expected 2 days). quality was almost same as original. price saved me $40 (or 50%) compared to original brand. product was toner refill kit for Brother TN350. i did not need customer service or tech support, so no comment there."

"I placed my last order in August 2008 for the Uni-Kit toner refill kit #1, which is a refill kit for HP monochrome printers. I use this toner for my HP C4127x cartridge, and it works very well (9.5/10 compared to the original). I have ordered from them once before, inkjet cartridges for my Brother fax machine, and those also worked just about the same as the originals. Shipping is fast, product quality is very good, and sales rep on the phone is very courteous and easy to get a hold of."

"I placed an order for a refill kit (toner+chip) for my Xerox Phaser 6130N. I chose the kit by selecting my make, then model of printer. The kit said it was for my printer and also a specific Dell printer.

The kit arrived fairly quickly. I followed the instructions (which are ok, but the photocopied pictures wouldn't help if you didn't already know what you were doing) and got the toner put in and chips swapped. I reinstalled the toner and the printer gave an error. I looked through an online forum (which I think is associated with 123refills) and got an answer within a couple of days. Apparently although the toner is the same for my Xerox and that other Dell, the chips aren't. The webpage led me to that kit after giving it my model and info, so the mistake is squarely theirs.

It took a few days of emails (there is no phone number anywhere) to get them to issue me an RMA. I send it in right away (now about four weeks ago) and despite emailing several times haven't heard anything else. So, my printer is still sitting here not able to print six weeks after installing the toner kit.

If they send you the right thing, your transaction will probably be fine (they shipped fairly quickly) but if you need customer service for anything, anything at all, you should quickly run, not walk, somewhere else.

"Order was delivered very fast (faster than expected). I ordered toner refill kit for my HP laserjet, which worked flawlessly and saved me about $40 compared to buying a new cartridge at Staples (about 50% savings). I am very impressed by the products and service of 123 Refills. They also offer refill services at their stores, it looks like they have a few stores in Europe and are starting to open stores now in North America. A great concept, a great company, I highly recommend."
