Stay away from Skylux if you don't want to be scammed!

"Attention: if you are also got scammed by Skylux, pls contact me. I just filed a complaint with BBB; I am working on filing a complaint against Skylux with CA Attorney General and filing a lawsuit with CA Court. Let's joint force to take down this unethical travel agency; so they can not scam more people.

“BUYER BEWARE” of Skylux! It is too bad I can not give them less than one star. I suspect they occasionally work for some buyers interested in discounted tickets, however, when they take your money and provide you with nothing (including tickets) you know you should avoid them like the plague. I am certain my story is not uncommon for the company. I was recently informed that my grandmother in China had been hospitalized. As such, I needed to book tickets quickly from California. Regrettably, I did not have time to review ratings for the company…big mistake. They initially “booked” a round trip ticket for myself and one way for my mother, and collected nearly $10,000. Just over a week later, they informed me that one leg of the journey had been cancelled. At that time, they offered a replacement option that was entirely unacceptable and included a one-night layover. I immediately notified them in writing that this would not work and cancelled my booking as I have the right to do when flight plans are changed. The next day, they sent me another travel option that, on the surface, appeared to be reasonable. I agreed to take that option if they could expeditiously provide the tickets. They implied it would not be a problem, however, nothing showed up the next day. In fact, despite daily attempts to obtain that confirmation, I had still not received anything nearly 10 days after the fact. As my flight was only a couple of weeks away and my grandmother’s condition was serious, I advised them, again, to cancel my tickets and purchased directly with the airline. (This process took only a matter of minutes. Skylux, could not get in done in 10 days?) Not only did Skylux refuse to refund my money, they had the gall to request additional funds from me. Despite repeated attempts to resolve the issue they have retained the entire $10,000 without ever having purchased satisfactory tickets from the airline. There is clearly a very huge internal problem with this company. Never again!
