WARNING! Poor communication, only sent 1 of 3 items, but charged me full shipping for all items.

"My message to Simply Good Stuff:
On November 24, 2023, I placed an order for items listed on your website, as shown below. I chose to buy these products from you, because you have each available, according to your website, and the price was good. After creating an account and proceeding with the order process, I also found that you charge shipping. Still, the total price for the 3 items was agreeable. After a week and a half of not hearing that the order was shipped, I called your Customer Service to inquire on December 5. I was told that I should expect on the following day or two that the items would be shipped. So, I waited, and was happy to receive an email the following day indicating my order was shipping.

Yesterday afternoon, at approximately 5:45 p.m., I received a package from Simply Good Stuff. Problem: the package contained only 1 of the 3 items. The enclosed Sales Receipt listed each item, with only 1 shipped, and a credit due of $****.****. I am unhappy about this, as I have placed my order 1 month before Christmas, and now 1/2 of that duration has now expired, with only 1 of the 3 items delivered.

I am also disappointed that the Customer Service person with whom I spoke on December 5, did not tell me that only 1 item would be shipped! If I had known that Simply Good Stuff would treat my order this way, I would not have chosen to order from your company. Further, yesterday, when I received only 1 item in the package (Friday), I immediately called. This was 5:55 p.m. ET. However, no one answered, and the outgoing message said you closed at 6:00 p.m., but it was not yet closing time. So, I tried immediately a couple more times to be sure, but still, no one answered the phone. Did they just decide it was too close to quitting time, so why bother? Now, you will not be available until Monday, so hense this email.

Also noted on the Sales Receipt: the column that indicates a product is discontinued has no check marks on any items, so apparently you are still saying you can send the items, but just didn't??

So, here is my request, in order of preference:

1. Send the remaining 2 items immediately to me -- this is DEFINITELY MY PREFERENCE. I would like to hear confirmation by Monday, no later than noon (because it you decide that you will not or cannot, I need to order from another vendor, hopefully in time for Christmas)
2. If you cannot or will not fulfill the order as I have requested in #1 above, let me know right away. In this case, the Credit Due amount is insufficient. Not only am I spending an unhappy amount of time in this process, but the total price that I agreed to on the original order included shipping for all 3 items. Original shipping charge for all 3 items is $****.****, or $x.**** for each item. Now, you probably will tell me that $x.**** is your 'standard rate' but remember, the total cost of all 3 items plus shipping was what I found agreeable, and therefore placed my order. If you determine not to send the 2 items remaining, you should refund me $****.****), and I need to know this right away.

Well, after SGS did not respond, I tried 7 times after 11 a.m. ET to reach them at their Customer Service number. No one answered, so I ordered from another vendor, and then emailed SGS for a refund. I have extremely low confidence that SGS will do the right thing.

Of course, you probably won't see this review on their webpage that touts how their customers are so very happy with SGS, even though I submitted this with notification to SGS of this review.
