“GREAT! I've ordered lots of stuff from Newegg.com over the last couple years and have had great experiences. I even returned something once and it was completely painless. They ship promptly, have great prices and a great site. ”
“I ordered a BayTech RPC-27 power strip from them. It took 2 weeks to ship the "in stock" item and in that 2 weeks, it was like pulling teeth to get them to respond to emails. Phone calls always go to voice mail with no return calls. I finally got the order and it was the wrong item. In the process of getting an RMA # to return it but I'm sure this will be a painful process. I called BayTech, the company that makes the unit I ordered, and they told me to use another company because they've had trouble and have had lots of complaints with KVMs.com as well.
“2nd order with ebuyer.com, I ordered the wrong product and needed to send it back. Filled out their RMA request form. 1 week later they still hadn't issued one. I had to call. They hemmed and hawed but promised an RMA number. Still nothing. Called again, they were reluctant but promised again. 5 days later, still nothing. I filled out a complaint on their site and they told me that they have a "relationship" with the hardware maker that prevents them from accepting merchandise returns. Huh?!
I ended up disputing the charge with my credit card company and shipped the items back to them anyway. Same result for me, although it was painful. I'll never order from ebuyer.com again.
Low prices aren't necessarily always better because it usually means the customer service suffers. Beware.”
