“As I understand it this company has been around for a long time under the name Europe Audio and you can find some feedback under that name. Regardless I gave them a try because they sell audiophile stuff not available in the U.S. at a great price. They offer a ton of stuff on their website but most of it is not in stock. Several of my items took a long time before they showed up as 'Ready To Ship'. They have a nice webpage that maintains the status of your order but many items took a bit longer to come in than they were supposed to. That was ok but the real problem was one them never showed up after 4 months. Their communication through email is not great. I ended up contacting the supplier directly and found out that Loudspeaker Freaks had not paid their bill with the supplier hence the reason for the delay!
Ultimately I got them to ship my order without those parts but they never refunded my money (about $18) for the missing items. They quickly shipped it express to me. Also keep in mind you will pay some extra fees you don't see on top of the Visa charge, like an exchange fee and then duty fees when the box comes into the country. Overall kind of a PITA but the total price was still much better than anything available here.
Great website but the people running this business may not know what they're doing. I think the moral of the story is buy from them if they have it in stock, if they don't you're really taking your chances.”
“Bought stuff from these guys a couple times... no issues with them. Good prices fast shipping. Website does not specify mfg part numbers like most so it could be easy to get the wrong part if you're not careful. FWIW - Bike Bandit has a good rating among the motorcycle parts retailers on Amazon. But clearly whether or not something is in stock and will ship quickly is an issue with this company reading all the neg reviews. I don't work for BikeBandit but I'll agree that some of the 5 star reviews on here appear to be non-genuine customers.”
“Bought some hard to find Avon tires from them. Their customer service was excellent and their staff was honest about realistically what they will be able to deliver. Super-super fast shipping and it was free! Excellent seller.”
“First off I want to say that it took a couple weeks for them to ship but overall I did not have any real issues with purchasing. BE CAREFUL because their website content may be inaccurate when it comes to warranty details. Also I did not realize that my Fujitsu units warranty would not be recognized by Fujitsu directly because I had purchased through ecomfort.com until after I bought it. This may be true of other brands as well... do your research.
Unfortunately the unit I bought did have a premature failure and by the time I got around to getting it fixed it was technically a few months out of warranty. Initially ecomfort refused to honor any warranty replacement but after a few emails and phone calls they eventually did the right thing and sent me a new part. Overall my experience with them was pretty decent.”
“Never had much trouble but their return policy is not as good as some of the bigger retailers. Sometimes their prices are excellent and hard to pass up. They ship very fast however on this last order the box was not taped very well and came open by the time it got to my doorstep.”
“Been using RockAuto for quite a while now. Great company: fast shipping, excellent prices and top notch customer service. A rare combination in modern times. Don't hesitate to purchase from this vendor!”
“Purchased a hard drive and product was shipped fairly quickly. However unit was shipped as a bare drive only, no drivers or software and no instructions of any kind. Would not be a problem but website didn't specify that it was not a retail kit. Had to go to Seagate website to download drive software, no big deal.”
“DON'T WASTE YOUR TIME. Same bullcrap as the other scam sites. Ordered camcorder online and was requested to call back to "verify" order. Called back and declined all accessory packages and extended warranty. The next day I received an email saying that my camcorder was on backorder with the manufacturer but the website says that the item still ships within 1-2 days. This is bait and switch and it is ILLEGAL. How do these sites get away with it?”
