“I truly wish I had found this site before dealing with this place. Seriously, my experience was horrendous - and not unlike many others here. Almost verbatim scenario. Even the same customer service person, "Jenny," if she actually exists. I've had emails from "Jenny's" account which were actually signed by Brittany. The live chat person is always "Jenny," no matter when you log in. What an absolute joke.
Anyway... I digress. We placed an order for a Falcon Reclining 2pc Sectional Sofa on February 17. Yes, FEBRUARY 17. At the time it was quoted to ship in 10-14 days "Guaranteed." In the first week of March I inquired about the item and was told there was a slight delay on the fabric and that it was due to ship out on March 10. On March 13 I still had not heard anything about my order and sent another inquiry, at which point I was told that actually, a whole piece of my item was on backorder (which means I can only presume that the March 10 ship date was a complete farce) and it was now due to ship out on April 25 - totaling to more than 2 months of delay. Infuriated about the lack of communication, I was offered a pathetic (but better than nothing, I thought) discount for my inconvenience. It turns out that it WAS nothing, the discount was never issued anyway. I was also assured there would be NO further delay at this time. Reluctantly, we decided we could wait it out even though we had no sofa in our new apartment.
Fast forward to April 27, and there was still no word. I contacted them again and was told that the order was CANCELLED due to it being a further month of delay. Who cancelled it? And why wasn't I told about the delay OR the cancellation? I don't know. I had to chase them down to find this information out. But at this point I was happy to hear it. I received a confirmation notice of the cancellation and was told the card would be refunded. Great. The saga is over.
3 weeks later and there's still no sign of a refund. I have received no response with my regular course of email contact, nobody answers the phone, and the live chat person "Jenny" tells me to call the number (of course!).
We have filed an investigation with AMEX. AVOID AVOID AVOID.
I'm convinced that the people writing wonderful reviews here are shambolic, and this place is a total racket. I signed up for this website just to vent my fury.”
