Hidden surcharge

So apparently Grizzly adds a surcharge (which they don't disclose until after the sale when you receive your emailed receipt) for any product being shipped to California. They claim that it is mandated by all shipping companies. I find that hard to believe as I have never had a company tell me there is a surcharge for any of my items being shipped to CA and I receive items almost daily by USPS, UPS, FedEx, CA Overnight, YRC and some of the other Freight lines. Rather than offering to waive the fee they went ahead and cancelled the order. Great way to kick a customer to the curb Grizzly

Took money from my CC but never shipped product

Ordered several items from their Black Friday sale. They took my money but never shipped product. 2 weeks later when I contacted them, they told me the items were all back ordered and had been discontinued. After much arguing back and forth, they finally refunded my money.

They either oversold their stock or realized they lost a lot of money. In either case I felt ripped off by this company

Lack of Customer Service

I placed an order that they cancelled by mistake and then they lost the order. Dealing with their customer service is a total joke. I used to place a lot of orders with this company but have noticed their CS has gone down hill.


Provantage LLC

I made a purchase from them and they had to have it shipped to them from CA just to turn around and ship it to me 2 weeks later back to CA just to avoid paying Sales tax. They failed to inform me of the status. When I complained I was given the brushoff. I have never ordered from them again. My company isn't huge but we spend about $200k per year on IT related equipment. I tried them once and they let me down.

Quick shipping. There was a packing issue but the company was very responsive to my issue and resolved it to my satisfaction without me even asking. Will shop here again.
