"When a friend in his late 70s travels outside the U.S., I always purchase GeoBlue insurance for him. This past Jan. 2018, my friend was in hospital/clinic in a remote part of a developing country. He was ill, and the medical system was not organized for reporting by procedure. When my friend did return home, he arrived with a stack of receipts. GeoBlue worked with me and was able to verify much of my friend's claim. The GeoBlue staff was excellent. But, I want to be better prepared in the future. So from this experience, I sent my friend off on his next trip with forms that I prepared for pharmacists, for physicians, and for hospitals/clinics to complete at the time of service. These forms provide for contact information from service provider and for a description of services. Also, it is a good idea to photocopy receipts as soon as possible as ink on some receipts fades rapidly. "
