"Absolutely TERRIBLE Customer Service.. not honest, didn't live up to what they promised when they discovered they essentially lost my order.


TERRIBLE. Will NEVER have my business again, wouldn't recommend anyone else EVER buy from here either.

In fairness, they did reach out to me after they got this post and offered me a refund on my shipping which i told them what I am going to tell you. Keep the $10.00. I'd rather keep this post up in hopes that it spares someone the anguish of having to deal with this company.

I like being treated with respect and I absolutely don't tolerate mis-information or being lied to and i don't appreciate being told that I can't get what I want when what I want is for my order to be fulfilled and delivered in a timely manner.

This isn't amazon we are talking about with 1,000,000 orders an hour.

"I had trouble receiving a heating mug I ordered for Christmas but, once it came, it seems like a perfect mug. The stainless steel interior should keep it from adopting flavors of various beverages (once the initial smell of the plastic chemical goes away), it holds a full 16 ounces, and it's comfortable to carry. The power source will work in a USB unit or the car, which is very convenient. I haven't used it much yet, but I'm looking forward to it making my long commute much more enjoyable. Customer service was eventually the best one could hope for and I am very satisfied with the final outcomes of this purchase."

"I had a bittersweet experience with electOtronics, it all began on may 3 when I placed an order for a Pelican Backpack, I was thrilled since I was getting an awesome deal and no tax on my purchase.
I didn't hear from them until may 15 when I got an email apologizing for not reaching me before and stating that my item was backordered and will ship asap.
Nothing happens until May 20 when I inquire about my item and ask to cancel my order for which they reply apologizing again and also letting me know that they contacted the warehouse and that my item was shipped that day and that I will get a partial refund on the shipping cost. I said, ok that sounds fair.
I got an email the next day with a tracking number and was happy waiting for my item.
Then FedEx tracking info state that the item was left at my door. (which I never got and also they never left a door tag) and everything went wrong from there. I file a claim with electOtronics about my missing package which took 2 months to settle with FedEx where they denied any liability for the lost item.
I went back to electOtronics almost resigned that I lost my money and regretting no having the order cancelled when I asked, but they went above and beyond and refunded me for my lost package which I appreciated very much and totally change my mind about doing business with them again which I will definitely do.
I read many others reviews which resemble what happened to me regarding the shipping delays and lack of communication and all I can say is that they are improving and trying to build a better reputation. I know they had issues before but the way they handled my order really makes me believe they deserve another chance.
I really hope to see more positive reviews in the future.

"This was the worst experience I've ever had with an online company. I ordered an item that was listed as "In Stock" and paid $93.00 to have it shipped in two days.....after three day I called.....finally getting in touch with this guy, and was told that basically he didn't have the item in stock at all and he didn't think he could get it to me by when I needed it. Just don't mess with these crooks, you'll be sorry as it appears that everyone else that's ever dealt with these people feels the same way. STAY AWAY"

"I've never had this terrible of an experience with any online merchants, EVER! I placed an order on April 8th 2014 for items to take overseas on a business trip 3 weeks later. The item showed as "In Stock" online and I figured the items would arrive before my trip per their shipping policy:

"Most orders are processed within 2-3 business days however some orders may have a longer processing time. In the event that an item is backordered, or any other issue arises you will be contacted as soon as possible."

A month go by and I still have not heard anything from customer service. After contacting them on May 6, regarding the status of my order, I was informed the item was "out of stock" but they did get some in that day and will ship out asap. Well, thank you for letting me know "as soon as possible" per your shipping policy. This isn't the end however.

Another month go by and I still do not receive any updates. On June 4th, I contacted customer service again demanding to speak to a supervisor/manager. I was informed via email they were not sure what happened and that a partial refund of the shipping will be issued and the item will be shipped that day. No, this isn't the end either.

Another week goes by without any communication from customer service and finally I get a notice the items have shipped, 2 MONTHS AFTER MY ORDER DATE. I still have not received my partial shipping refund.

"I ordered a product from eletOtronics on 5/7/14 which was identified as "in stock" on their website. After 10 days I contacted their customer service because the item had not yet been shipped. They said the product was not actually in stock, but had just arrived and would be expedited to me that day. A week later the item was still not shipped and I contacted them again to complain. Again, they said that the item was not available and they would expedite shipping when it did arrive. One month later the item ships, but with the least expensive shipping option (far from expedited shipping as TWICE promised). Reading other customer reviews, it sounds like this is a common practice from their fulfillment department.

Bad service! Shame on you.

"It has been A MONTH! I have attempted to do live chat during business hours, NO RESPONSE, I Have waited on hold for lord only knows how many times and now finally sent a message through their chat link so we will see what happens tomorrow but my guess is I will hear nothing.....but canceling my order will not be an acceptable response, let the online blasting begin, fortunately social media management and web optimization is what I do for a living, you pissed off the wrong customer!!!!! "Ordered a gift for Christmas. Was "in stock" after 15 days still hadn't received anything from them. Emailed to find out it went on "back order" but magically they had just received a shipment in and assured me they would rush ship it. At that point it didn't matter because Christmas would have passed. When I finally received the item it was the WRONG THING. I emailed them to tell them and after a ridiculously long wait they emailed me that I could return it for the right product or they could refunds shipping. I elected to have my shipping fee refunded because clearly I couldn't trust them to ship me the correct product as i barely got the wrong one. It has been 2 weeks and I still haven't received my refund even though they said 3-5 business days. I have emailed them twice with no response. I wish I had read the bad reviews about this company before ordering from them. Don't waste your time or money."

"I was very disappointed with everything. I ordered an electronic game call and two weeks later there was still no shipment information. I was blown off on my first email inquiry and it took two days to respond to the second one. Finally I told them to cancel the order and that's when they finally responded and refunded my money. Will not shop here again."

"I ordered something on the 6th and its now the 15th and have no response from this company about if my product is shipped, no tracking numbers or anything. I am close to filling a fraud claim at my bank and cancel my order.

UPDATED: My poor review and 3rd e-mail made a difference. This company has since gone through the proper steps to make this purchase right. They have not only shipped my item quickly but also refunded my purchase amount. I appreciate the gesture and will shop here again.

"I received my order--finally. But overall, not too pleased with the overall experience, although I've raised my rating to only "somewhat" dissatisfied, since the customer service did follow through a few times (but more to ensure that my review was updated to show receipt):

- Placed order on 27 Oct
- CC charged on 29 Oct
- Inquired on 4 Nov as to status via email and chat (which incidentally wasn't online during regular business hours)
- Received response on 5 Nov, apologizing for not letting me know that item had been on backorder, and had just been received today. Response also stated that it would also be shipped today and ‘rushed’ so that I would have it in a few days. (However, since I already paid for USPS Priority Mail, it remains to be seen if this means upgrading the shipping method.)
- Good news, the item was shipped yesterday as was promised. Email received on 6 Nov with tracking ID. Bad news, they shipped using FedEx Home Delivery, and I had paid extra to upgrade to USPS Priority Mail (sigh). Online chat was online today, and rep apologized, and promised partial refund of shipping.
- Received item on 9 Nov, refund a few days later

While I appreciate the apologies, it was only after my inquiry following a week of silence in the first case and an online chat in the second case. I still have no explanation as to why my card was charged while they awaited their shipment.

"Don't understand all these negative reviews. I ordered a Philips bluetooth speaker on Oct. 25. I received it on October 29. I got an email when they shipped it to me and it had all the pertinent tracking info. I don't know if I got lucky but I would not hesitate to buy from them again.
Also, when I placed the online order, their website was advertising a $3 coupon which I gladly and successfully applied to my order. Not to mention their price was 50% below Amazon's. So super thumbs up from me!! I highly recommend them.
