"Beware of ordering accessories! I purchased my first DSLR from them, a Canon 7D, because they were offering the cheapest price. While on the phone, however, the sales rep talked me into purchasing useful accessories that I would eventually need to buy. I was naive to think that they were offering me quality accessories (e.g. Canon brand, or any other reputable brand). When the items arrived days before my trip, I realized that I had been taken advantage of. All of the accessories were the lowest imaginable quality from low end generic brands. After cross-checking prices of the accessories on Amazon.com, I realized that I had overpaid $1,199.99 from what the accessories were actually worth. Items that were available for $7 on Amazon were sold to me for $100+. Not to mention, because of the poor quality of all of the accessories, I had to go out and purchase good quality accessories that I would actually use. It was a form of the classic "bait-and-switch", which I had until then never been victim of. While I would have normally just returned the accessories, the sales representative talked me into grouping everything into a single "discount package", which prevented me from returning the poor quality individual items, and since I was leaving on my trip a mere few days later, I did not want to return the camera. Central Digital would only accept a full return of the package, and due to their excessively high re-stocking fees, returning the product meant paying close to $1000 for nothing. It was absolutely one of the worst experiences of my life--I've never felt so helpless and taken advantage of, especially since I was so excited to finally invest in my first SLR camera. I'm not sure if this store is still in operation (it seems to constantly change it's store front--perhaps due to its shady practices). But please be careful when ordering through these guys. "

"They are a pain to order from, but if you're willing to wait for your item, their prices can't be beat. They always make you call to "verify" your order, meaning, they want you to call so they can get you to buy more stuff. If you don't call (once I did, once I didn't) your order takes 7-10 days to ship. I'm willing to wait (plus free shipping) so I don't have to get stuck on hold for 20 minutes to tell them, yes, this is all I want to order. My items have been in perfect ("new") condition, with an international warranty (not sure if this will fly with Nikon, but it's worth the lower price to me to risk it), and everything in the box that was promised. I recommend them, but with hesitation. "

"Ordered a Pioneer VSX-33 Elite online with 3-5 day shippping (which costs extra) on 1/13, received e-mail confirmation (with no receipt). Three days later 1/16 I received an e-mail that I must call to confirm my order. Called and was told that my order could only ship ground and would take 7-10 days with no indication that I would be receiving a refund on the extra shipping cost that I paid for. I mention to the sales associate that I had paid for 3-5 day shipping and he told me that it was going out "express ground". He never gave me the price total, and hurried me off the phone. Later I recieved an e-mail that my item had shipped (no receipt again), with a UPS tracking number. It was sent out regular UPS ground. I won't get it until 01/24. I feel this is a bait and switch on the shipping cost. Interstingly enough--my credit card has still not been charged so I can't see the total. Fortunately I printed the total when I placed to order on their web site. I will be extremely suprised if my order price was reduced to reflect the ground shipping cost. I suspect however that the price will either remain the same, or perhaps even increase in their favor."
"I ordered Canon EOS 60d on 30th december with free shipping (7-10 business days) but I received it earlier, on the 7th january which is pretty nice. This has been my second purchase from them but I am completely satisfied. Also their offering paypal payment option made me buy from them since for me, if a seller uses paypal, it is less likely that they are cheating. The only thing I want to mention is, although their prices are pretty low, there are some other websites that offer better prices. If they want to be a lot more popular, they need to set their prices after a more detailed search.Anyways, I had no problems so far. Thanks central digital."

"The service from Central Digital was excellent. Unfortunately I am very unhappy with the camera itself. I had read a number of reviews and had a Canon Power Shot A510 which was just wearing down. I am going to return the camera after only a two week trial. Problems include unable to get a shot without movement unless characters were holding absolutely still, uses batteries like wild, poor even grainy shots, slow response, and just a few other less important issues. "
"I ordered a camera and few additional items from Central Digital online, got an email confirmation; that was fine. I received an email a couple days later to call a CSRep regarding my order. I did. It turns out I had an item wrong, so we corrected it. That was great. However, this also was an obvious sales call. I was offered a KIT deal - battery, lens, body, card, etc. After hesitation and confusion, I ordered the kit. The CSR was very polite. We went through pricing and items - a confusing talk, lots of hesitation on my end, but I just took the deal. I have my order now, and it seems that even though I have a KIT BOX, the lens isn't here. Also, the items I purchased, and even corrected, are low quality and don't cost much individually. The KIT was a rip off -- SHADY business practice. I could have gotten all that I thought I WAS getting for the same price I paid elsewhere. So needless to say - CONFUSION AND DISAPPOINTMENT - I was duped. I would never order from them again. "
"Pretty good service, with a great price. Processing was a little slow, but that was stated before you bought the item, but once it was shipped, it was delivered promptly. Packaging was very good, everything was new in the box. Price was the best part, quite a bit less than any other retailer. Will buy from them again if the need arises."
"I had got the best price (~$1950) for a Canon 5D Mark II and selected purchasing from this site cause the reseller reviews for this site was good. I got the product that I ordered on time, no problems with the order, I looked @ the charge that's been charged on the credit, they've charged me the updated price of the product. Really felt bad after seeing that. I've raised a concern to dispute a charge with the credit card company. Waiting to hear from Central Digital on what they have to state regarding this, before I proceed with this. I've revisit my review once I hear from Customer Service. So I get transferred to customer service and speak to the manager in charge, he was able to resolve the issue for me. There was some misunderstanding on the price listed. I'll surely shop from this site again but document the whole process next time. "
