"Worst company - terrible. Placed an order on 8/30/2014 and today it is October 27, 2014. I have never received the order. The website says it is still processing. I have emailed them 2 times with no response. Even mentioned I was calling the Better Business Bureau. I called the phone number provided and a recording says the voicemail box you are trying to reach is not set up yet. Seems shady. I finally gave up after 2 months and deleted my order. I do not recommend."

"DO NOT USE Baby Metro. I recently placed my first order with them. When I received the order, all of my items were not with the package. When I checked it out, they informed me some of them were no longer in stock-even though it showed online that they were in stock and had been shipped to my house. Then they quoted me a 5% discount, which they never gave. When I attempted to contact them, I called and called with no answer. When I finally did reach somone, she told me she would have her manager contact me, which a manager never called. I tried calling again, emailing twice with no response. Finally I talked to somone via chat after waiting 10 minutes and the CUSTOMER SERVICE SUCKED! The person didn't appologize, wouldn't offer any explainations, etc. WORST COMPANY I'VE EVER WORKED WITH!!!!"

"This place is great! I needed a few items for our nursery and couldn't find them retail store anywhere, but I found them here. The prices are very reasonable. The customer service is great as well. My first time shopping there and the nice lady was able to help me order everything over the phone. They price matched and even gave me an additional 5% off. Sure I had to wait a little bit to get my products, but we were not in a hurry. Its a nice tradeoff for their Low prices, and great customer service. 5stars"

"Worst company I have ever dealt with! Do not order from them unless you don't mind waiting months for your purchase. I ordered two items and they were suppose to ship 7-14 days later and 14 days passed and nothing. I called the company and they said they were on back order. No explanation why or anything. I've called multiple times to see when they would be in and no answer. I finally got an email from them saying they would be shipping them in 3 days and its been two weeks and nothing.

Also, I asked them if they would sent it with free shipping and I checked my bank account and they charged us for shipping. I emailed them to tell them that there was a mistake and I was charged and they said that they charged me for the stadanrd shipping and gave me "a courtesy of the free upgrade". Then I called and asked to talk to customer service and the lady on the phone said that it was her so I asked what her name was and it was the sales lady who I've been talking to. Who had also said I could talk to her manager, so I know she lied. Then she said she'd transfer me to her manager and it went to a generic voicemail. Very fishy..

They take forever to return your emails, don't answer calls, and don't apologize for any of that. I'm surprised they are still in business! DON'T EVER USE THEM! YOU'LL BE SORRY YOU DID. It would of been worth the extra $5 to order elsewhere.

"I have never been more dissatisfied with an online company! I have been waiting for my order for over a month now. I have tried calling and they send messages straight to a voicemail and do not return the calls. I have tried the online message center that says they will return your call in 24 hours- they have not contacted me. They have already processed the order and taken my money, but waited a full month to send the first part of my package. I received it yesterday, but one piece is missing. They said it is shipped, but there is no shipping number at all. SO FRUSTRATING! AVOID ORDERING FROM THEM!"

"Worst online company ever! I order 8 different pieces from them and it took them 2 months to complete the order! Not only that it took BabyMetro to months but they also got paid in advance! Ever time i called them they told me that my shipment was leaving that afternoon, and they would only ship one item at a time! Never shopping from there again."

"NEVER EVER order from this company. I had ordered our collection 3 weeks ago and still haven't received anything. I got an email a week and a half ago stating that it was being shipped to us, never received it, so I called them and they say the items have been backordered and they expect them to be shipped in a couple of days. It would have been nice to know all of this information when I ordered it. Thanks a lot baby metro for delaying the process of getting this room done when we wanted."

"I was skeptical to order from babymetro.com after reading couple of reviews. But their prices are the lowest I could find so I decided to take a chance. I didn’t want to order online so I called customer service and placed an order for the Lambs and Ivy Madison bedding set and 2 accessories for my soon to be baby girl. The lady that answered the phone was kind and funny, took my order and gave me an estimated ship date and delivery date. My order was delivered to me within the time frame that was promised, without any hiccups. I would recommend this company to my friends and family."

"Im currently in my 3rd trimester of my pregnancy and I am due in a month. My OBGYN said my baby’s head is facing upwards and will need a C-section unless my baby switches position to head down. She recommended the Bellybud headphones in attempt to change my baby’s position. I came across babymetro.com that is within driving distance from me. Placed the order in the morning for in-store pickup and 2 hours later, I received a call from customer service telling me my order is ready for pickup. The ordering process and pickup service was smooth, no trouble at all! I love the fact that I can use the Bellybud the same day I ordered it. Im keeping my fingers crossed and hopefully this device will my baby’s position."

"They sell items on their website, but don't actually stock them. We bought the following item: http://www.babymetro.com/Lambs-and-Ivy-Jumbo-4-Piece-Crib-Bedding-Set-p/li-507004v.htm

However, several days after making the purchase they canceled our order because the item was discontinued. Here's an idea for BabyMetro: only sell what you have in stock!

From what I've read here it sounds like they don't maintain a wearhouse and order direct from the manufacturer to your door. This will result in a lot of unsatisfied customers because they have very little control over getting the item to the customer.

The great thing is that even though they canceled our order, they still have the item up for sale!

We won't be trying them again.

"I had an issue with their website and when I called, I was very upset and not really pleasant. I spoke with a gentleman by the name of Steve and throughout my rant, he was very patient and tried all his best to help me resolve the matter even though nothing could be done.

I then went on your live chat and chatted with Jennifer and here also I was met with outstanding customer service. She referred me back to Steve who was able to help me and all the while, offer great service. At the end, I received what I wanted and now I have a beautiful nursery!

This is my first experience with babymetro.com and I have just had the great fortune of working with the most outstanding customer services reps with the company. I would definitely be back.

"I'm having the same problem as the others that have written reviews. I ordered on July 31 and over half my order is still in processing. Every time I call they say they will get back to me and send me an update on my order status. I am still waiting and now it is the 14th of August. I was never told anything about it being on backorder."

"NEVER NEVER NEVER NEVER use babymetro.com. They have some of the lowest prices but also the lowest customer service rating, and I wouldn't recommended this site to even my worst enemy. 1) they don't deliver to ANY BASE due to an issue they have with "tracking" 2) I placed my order 12 days ago I was email the next day to get a different address (luckily I have a friend who lives off base) and was told that day it would be shipped . . . 12 days later I call after an HOUR of getting the answering machine someone picks up to tell me that they should be getting my products in today and will be shipped tomorrow (needless to say I cancelled the order completely) 3) the day I was emailed by one of their reps I saw where the money had been taken out of our checking account a couple of days later I noticed an increase in our money not knowing where it had come from now I know it was baby metro cancelled the payment. so I warn all of you NEVER NEVER NEVER NEVER use baby metro"

"DON'T EVER SHOP HERE! I placed my order over two weeks ago and it's been saying "processing" since day one. I called once to check on my status and they said they have to wait on the manufacturer to ship it and it's still pending. OH and if you leave them a voicemail they never call you back OR respond to your questions online. Then I asked her if everything was in stock and she mentioned one thing was on backorder until July..well my baby is going to be born in July!!!! (i bought nusery bedding and crib accessories). I called back a second time a week later and they said my bedding was sold out until summer...So my baby would be without her crib bedding basically. Also, their "Live Chat" doesn't work and if you want to send a customer inquiry on their web site through their "e-form" the security code never works or brings you to a error page. This site is a rip-off. Please don't be a sucker like me and shop here because they have the lowest prices....NOT WORTH IT. This is from someone who NEVER fills out online customer reviews. I'm so mad and hope I save future moms from shopping here! Go to Superbabymall.com if you want a legimate site with GOOD customer service. After cancelling my order at babymetro.com I ordered everything at Superbabymall.com and it shipped DAYS later with free shipping! "
