Sends wrong item, denies liability then drags out return process
"Purchased an air filter. Wrong item comes in correct box, could have been someone purchased previously then returned and slipped wrong item in box so I give them the benefit of the doubt contact them for return stating I understand this could happen. They proceed to drag out return process with back and forth emails and imply how could it possibly be from them since the product in the box isn't sold by them. 2 weeks later they issue a return label after I file the dispute. All the while apologetic emails with a touch of sarcasm and a side non accountability. Too bad I don't live closer I would have returned it in person...."

"Called multiple times, voicemail. Send two different emails, NO RETURN email. Sent a private message on Facebook, not looked at or replied. Basically; crap customer service. Bad customer service is a great indicator of the rest of the company. Absolutely horrible!"

"Bought an exhaust header/downpipe from them and it quickly arrived the same week. Unfortunately, shipping damage caused a few bolts to be missing but sparktec got back to me immediately and we worked out having me compensated to purchase replacement bolts. They compensated me more than the bolts were worth and I ended up getting better hardware than the header manufacturer probably would have provided anyway."
"I ordered a set of spiked lug nuts about 2 weeks ago now and 2 of them were defective. I was okay with the rest of the product I like them a lot. I sent an email regarding the two that were messed up which I did get responses for a little bit. When it came to finding out about getting me two new ones it has been over a week and I have still yet to hear a word. Customer service is sub par at best. Wouldn't trust ordering things online from here again."
"I don't know why this vendor has some poor reviews. My experience with them was excellent. I ordered OBX V2 Headers for a 2002 Maxima. I used their website's chat to send an email to ask for tracking the next day, and someone answered me in less than a half hour. The next day I had the Fed Ex tracking info. Headers came in the mail, the right part, at a super great price! I remember reading some of the so-so reviews before I made the purchase, but I'm glad I took a chance anyway. I felt inclined to leave a review to let folks know this vendor is not as bad as some may say.Chris"
"*Attention* Do not order from these crooks!!I found a Cat Back Exhaust that I wanted to order. I called several times on two different business days to check availability and never once was my call answered. I only got a message saying they were not available. This alone should have been a red flag to me. What kind of business doesn't answer their phones and has no customer support? Against my better judgement I placed an order. How foolish of me! After 3 days of not hearing from them nor being able to contact them I received an email stating that the cat back exhaust I ordered was out of stock and backordered. This was not mentioned anywhere on their site. They took my money for something they did not have. I read several other reviews of dissatisfied customers stating the exact same thing happened to them. I received a refund but nonetheless was very dissatisfied in every aspect of how these clowns try and run a business. Do yourself a favor and take your money elsewhere and actually get what your paying for. Sparktec Motorsports is a complete waste of time!!!!!"
"I couldn't find a spoiler anywhere for my girlfriends infiniti g35 2006. But this sight luckily showed a good looking one so I bought it fast because I needed it in 2-3 weeks. Then I read all the reviews and became skeptical of my purchase so I messages Sparktec and they replied so that reassured me. Then 2.5 weeks later it showed up at my door, the day before my 2 year anniversary for my girl. I realized the wing also was not in the best shape and it was actually cracked about a foot across the backside. It is a massive crack and you can see inside the wing. The way it is cracked obviously shows that it was cracked from previous use not from shipping. I wouldn't sent it back but I don't have time and I don't know if I trust getting another one in return. Luckily I know a thing or two and hopefully I can fix it. I'm giving it a 2 because at least I got it and they replied to my emails."

"Sparktec is my nightmare. Here is a story of me. I have ordered a clutch through sparktec. I was so proud at the time for being order a good price clutch for my lexus is300. When I received the clutch I took my car to an auto shop right away. After the mechanic finish change the clutch and test it. He found out the clutch is not right for the car. He shop does not warranty for parts not order through his shop. I contact sparktec and said I want to return the clutch and get my refund. Sparktec ask me why I want to return the clutch and I explained sparktec my problem with the clutch. Sparktec told me to wait, he has forward my problem to the factory of the clutch. He told me to wait someone will contact me via phone or email. I wait and wait but nothing happened. I contacted Sparktec again and never got any reply from them. I end up buy a new clutch and pay for double labor. And a brand new clutch from Sparktec is sitting in my garage now. Here is a story of me. Thanks for read my story."
"These people specialize in trying to sell discontinued merchandise. As other buyers have said, you'll find a super low price on their site and order it. Guess what, when its not shipped for a couple weeks maybe you'll look into it and realize that they never had and could never get the product. Lol Jokes on you. I read that these are a couple of con artists from california. Save your time and money and shop at a legit place before you get screwed like me. "

"Terrible service! Vendor listed Ground Control Coilovers with "Any race, street or show" spring rate as available. The advertisement also indicated "If we don't have the item in stock, we will pay you $25.00." I contacted the vendor to ask how to place my order with the spring rates I wanted and have been told "We don't currently have them available." James Kang (likely an alias, as there are several "owners" of this company) refuses to honor the original advertisement (which he has since changed) or the $25 guarantee. I would like to purchase the advertised item at the advertised price (which is lower than the manufacturer offers it for), "
"This is my first time purchasing from Sparktec. Ordered a Exedy Racing Clutch. Sparktec was the cheapest for that style of clutch. Transaction went well. I ordered on monday late night and delivery received on thursday. Much earlier than expected. If their prices on all items are competetively priced, I just found a new place to purchase parts for my G35. "
