TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE
"TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE. I was so excited to get my wedding album from them only to discover they had completely messed it up. I paid additional to have the logo fee removed only to receive it with the logo still. I contacted customer service and asked for a refund only to be told they'll send me another book, which they did, however I had to pay $20 customs on it AGAIN and the logo was STILL on the book. So I contacted them AGAIN. They told me they'll send me another book with free shipping and an additional 39 pages. So I decided to add more pages and when I went to go checkout, they charged my credit card $60 and I DID NOT GET FREE SHIPPING. I contacted customer service right away to tell them I did not want that additional album that I had to pay for again and wanted a refund. They told me it was already in production and they couldn't cancel it eventhough it wasn't shipped. SHUTTERFLY IS SUCH A SCAM. They told me to follow refund instructions once I received the product., which means I would have to pay another customs fee of $20 to get the product only to pay god knows what to return it. I AM SO FED UP. SHUTTERFLY CUSTOMER SERVICE ****. DO NOT TRUST THEM. THEY TRY TO GET AS MUCH MONEY FROM YOU AS THEY CAN. DO NOT USE THEM. I HAVE SPENT MUCH MORE THAN I intended to on my wedding album and it is still garbage. I could've paid a professional company at this point and saved money and it would've been better and less frustration. "
Terrible customer service
"I am really disappointed in their poor customer service and misleading business practices. I ordered from Canada and also had a Canadian promo code, but it didn’t indicate anywhere at checkout that I was being charged in USD. When I contacted customer service, they were not at all helpful and offered to just cancel the order. I spent countless hours on two books that I was paying $191 for which was high enough, but it ended up being $255 with the conversion rate plus whatever duties and taxes I will have to pay on delivery (I haven’t received them yet). I honestly would have paid the $255, I am just upset that I think they are deliberately misleading Canadian customers. I will never shop with them again. I wish I had of read the hundreds of terrible reviews before doing business with them. Lesson learned. "

Low quality prints
"I just spent over $70 for prints and having them delivered to my house, they all look horrible. I can’t use any of them they’re fuzzy and bit-mat which is extremely upsetting considering I got them from the devices that actually took the photos. There’s absolutely no reason for the extremely low quality photos I revived. I am very upset will never use this company again. I am out $70and I’m going to have to reprint all these photos from a different company. Do not waste your time and money. "
Worst Company Ever! Liars and Thieves!!!
"Shutterfly is one of the worst companies I have ever dealt with. We used to use TinyPrints and they were always great. After ShutterFly acquired them (I think), their quality went downhill. We had a VERY bad experience recently with Shutterfly. We ordered holiday cards for 2017. When they arrived, they were the lowest quality cards I have ever seen so I contacted them and they said we could return them and be refunded. All we had to do was ship them back with the return slip. I did that and they signed them and received them at the beginning of December. I followed up every week asking where my refund was and each time, they said it takes 3-5 days. Then they changed their story to it taking one billing cycle. Then they said it takes 4 weeks or more. So, I kept following up and almost two months later, they have stopped replying to me and I haven't been refunded anything. I had to pay for the cards and then had to pay even more to ship them back. They are crooks and thieves and shouldn't be in business. I am disputing / charging back the transaction and will leave reviews everywhere so others can steer clear of them. Such a terrible business and I am so annoyed that they have wasted so much of my precious time trying to get my money back.They responded to the chargeback that they never received the return even though:a) The tracking showed it as delivered and signed for!!!b) They never responded to my customer service inquiries after I told them I never received my refund. AND they said they had sent my refund. Then in the chargeback, they lied again and said they never received the return. Avoid at all costs. Worst company ever!"
Shutterfly is worst website ever
"All of the photos that I ordered were printed too dark. They are not too dark on my pc. I could not get that through to Customer Service and they could not tell me how to fix it. After way too long on the phone, they finally refunded the dollar amount of my order. But now I have to go back on their site and reorder all 50+ photos and that is very difficult on Shutterfly. Their website is not at all user friendly. Took me 2 hours the first time. Now I tried reordering these same 50+ photos and they won't even download to the site this time. I tried for over an hour and just kept getting an error saying they could not be downloaded. ShutterFly is the WORST photo website I have ever used. It ****! I'm so mad right now because I've wasted hours and hours on Shutterfly and still cannot get my photos to download. I've used VistaPrint and Snapfish and they are both so easy and user friendly. I will NEVER use ShutterFly again! The only reason I was even trying to use it, is because I received $50 worth of gift certificates for it for Christmas. I'd do anything to get them refunded so I don't have to deal with ShutterFly! I HATE it! More Frustrated than I have ever been on any other website EVER!"
"I've recently tried to edit my books from make a book. I don't have a lot of extra time, so when I spend a decent amount editing to have photo books to commemorate our family life,I expect it to save & work. I would spend much more with them if this would happen. However, I've realized I've spent way too much. My books aren't even saved that I work on & after spending time ordering their "freebies" & making other purchases, I realize many of their promos don't actually work. If they don't figure this out soon, I'll find another company that knows how to save my edits & make me feel like I'm not throwing money down the drain. If they get it fixed, I'm happy to continue using their services."
Lie about customer support
"I asked for help for a very specific edit from one of their "technicians", Ahmed M. and without even reading my request, he copy pasted their site's instructions into the email. i had read their instructions already, THATS why i still needed help. I went to Canvasworld.com instead. WAY better price and quality. If you need anything printed, i suggest you find a company that actually cares about their client's projects and not go to shutterfly"
Giving a 1 coz I can’t a zero
"I paid extra $15 for expedited shipping so it reaches before Christmas, but the package didn’t reach me until 2 days later. They showed zero guilt about it, and acted as if it’s a minor mistake. Terrible customer service, the lady I talked to showed an excessive amount of attitude while speaking and not at all helpful. I wouldn’t use it ever again. "
No Christmas Cards to send out
"Will not order from Shutterfly again! This is the first and last time I'll be ordering from shutterfly. Ordered Christmas Cards and still haven't received them. ETA is showing after Christmas. Defeats the purpose of me ordering Christmas Cards and not being able to give them out during Christmas! Called twice...first time they told me to call back if i didn't receive it the next day. I called back and was told nothing could be done for me. BS, Never again! I'll order my cards from somewhere that'll be more prompt on getting my cards out to me."

Christmas card nightmare
"After placing an order of over $600 with Shutterfly on Thanksgiving weekend for Christmas cards & envelopes - we are 5 days from Christmas and still do NOT have our envelopes to send out our cards! Shutterfly customer service is inconsistent and unresponsive! VERY disappointed! They offered a $50 credit - needless to say - we are unsatisfied customers and will not recommend them!"
Really a ZERO star rating
"Guaranteed delivery date was missed by a week. Ordered 5” x 7” cards and they are 4-3/4” x 6-3/4”. After holding for over an hour, the customer service rep indicated their sizes are meant to be “general and not specific”. They offered to reprint them but they’d be the same size. Why?! And then they offered a 25% refund and wished me a happy holiday. 2nd year in a row dealing with Tiny Prints and Shutterfly. NOT WORTH THE TROUBLE! Too many options to go back next year. "
I would give a zero star if possible
"The customer service and quality control have gone so downhill. I finally got through to a person and told them that they sent me an extra order that was not mine. He told me he would email me a label in a few days, I would have to print it off, put it all in a package, and then drop it off at UPS store. I told him no and that he could send them to my house to pick it up in which he said no. Seriously?! I am calling them to tell them of a mistake they made and I am suppose to run around to fix it. That is so wrong. And then putting my strings in the ornaments, a ribbon is missing. Poor quality control and customer service. I will never use Shutterfly again. There are too many other websites to use."
Discounts, prices, customer service. How is this place still open?
"The lowest prices the show are never available and the price only increases with no explanation. I called to get help as to why it was listed for 45 and after ordering my price was at 99 but after finding out that my wait time was 40 minutes I decided I could shop elsewhere with better results. This is an embarrassment of a company."
