"I placed an order with them two weeks ago and received no email confirmation, even though it was billed to my Visa. I emailed the helpdesk but got no response. After waiting two weeks, I was finally able to reach someone on the phone (They rarely answer their phone). I politely told them that I was now behind schedule and that they should send me my product without any shipping cost. He told me to F*** off and hung up. Wow, incredibly unprofessional."

"I did not read the negative reviews until after I had placed an order. Honestly I was concerned. I placed the order just before a holiday and received a confirmation e-mail quickly and that they would notify me when it shipped. Well it shipped before I got a tracking number but I attribute that to the holiday. Overall, the product came within the expected time frame and the items were the high quality I expected. I never had a need to contact the company. No payment problems."
Great prices - Great service
"First time ordering from here despite the negative reviews. I ordered four rafting tubes, a floating cooler, and an air pump. It said 3-5 days shipping days. I got the tubes the next day and I just received the rest today...The third day! I will continue to order from here. Great prices - Great service. Thanks."
Zero Customer Service, Not Possible to Contact, Very Shady Operation
"Tried to purchase from this company on 2 separate occasions. Both attempts were an item considerably less than elsewhere. First time I received a message there was a problem with the order, kindly call customer service. GOOD LUCK WITH THAT ! There is no customer service, the phone either goes immediately to a busy signal or rings and hangs up. Emails are never responded to. A month later I tried another time, still showing in stock at same price. This time an email stating the order was cancelled, no explanation, and of course you cant reach anyone. Don't bother ordering from this firm, they are likely heading for closure as no company can survive online when there are so many companies that care about the customer."
Low Price Listed but Never Delivered
"Ordered an item based on reasonable price listed on Google. Website showed 800 in stock. I ordered 20. A few days later I was emailed that they were not in stock. OK, mistakes happen. I asked for an ETA and the rep said one week later. I waiting for 1.5 MONTHS and still didn't get the items or hear back from the company. I tried calling several times during their listed hours and nothing. I finally emailed threatening to charge back through VISA if they didn't respond and I immediately got an order cancellation notice with no further explication. I should sue them for interest. "
Do NOT trust them with your money.
"They will make the CUSTOMER PAY when it is THEIR ERROR. ORDER from one of the many other online businesses that actually know how to do online business correctly, and will own their mistake. These are the facts:1. I made an order. 2. Next day, bank notified order was not processed due to fraud alert system and would need to contact them IF I want to redo this order.3. To save time, I made a new order with other card at a different bank.4. Received both orders despite the bank not allowing initial process of order, and they blame the bank for their processing of the order that should not have.5. They refuse to accept return unless I pay 15% restocking fee on this $125 order and shipping.I provided proof with images of the bank texts but would not listen even with that. If they won't budge in this case, they aren't going to take a hit for you if they mess up your order either."

"Worst customer service ever!!!! Don't order anything from that store!!!!I ordered a heater that caught fire. They were unable to apologize or give a refund, or anything. Questioning the fact it was "indeed" defective."
"I hesitated to complete my order based on some of the less than stellar reviews here and on Yelp and Facebook. However, I decided to chance it since the items were pretty basic and the price was right. I ordered two 5 pound pickaxes (a railroad pick and a mattock) with fiberglass handles for slightly more than $50 shipped. Similar items of lesser quality at the Blue and Orange stores were at least 50% more. Both pickaxes were promptly (and inexpensively) shipped in creative packaging that prevented the points from breaking through the outer cardboard. I am satisfied with the quality, but was surprised that they are products of Mexico - expected them to be from China - doesn't everything basic still come from there? Only quibble is small slivers of metal where the handle holes were routed to custom fit the handles - cut myself before putting a file to good use. I'll update this review if the picks don't hold up - given my fairly light DIY use, I expect to get many years of use. Both the Collins picks and Midland Hardware are recommended. "
Worst customer service experience!
"Terrible terrible experience! Ordered outdoor spring chairs on August 15. Never got shipment notification. Send multiple emails inquiring my order status - Never got any confirmation that it was shipped. Received first voice message regarding the freight on September 13. Called them back on September 14 to find out the chairs were send back the day before, two hours after they left their first message! When contacted the company for refund, was shocked to hear that they want to deduct restocking and shipment from the amount!!!! Really??? Will fight until I get the full refund! "
Had some problems buit they were resolved.
"I bought something from this vendor that did not meet the advertising claims. I wanted a refund because The claim "30 day no hassle returns" but when I saw the details It looked like a big hassle to me and not a full refund.I objected strenuously and got a full refund so customer service did come through with excellent service.They have excellent prices and fast shipping but read their return policy before ordering from them.."

"I placed an order with Midland for some hardware as they had the best price. I received an email back saying it was discontinued. This was false. I was able to place my order with another vendor with no problem. They didn't want to fulfill the order at the price they had given. Never do business with a company like that."
Right price, right product, right as rain and off to the races I go!
"I am a DIY addict who is always putting the horse before the cart. I found a small ottoman and recovered it in Black patent leather to match my decor but I knew that I wanted to add some feet/legs to the bottom of it to make it taller and more to size of the furniture that it would be accenting. I bought all the upholstery materials and raced home to start removing the old and replacing it with the new and I was nearly done and thinking about how cute it looked and anxious to show it off to the girls at the baby shower I was hosting days from now. Then it hit me, I didn't have the hardware needed so that I could install the legs/feet on the bottom to make it just the right height! This was a disaster because without the legs added this "ottoman" was nothing more than a black patent leather wrapped box no bigger than a box of fruit! Yes, it had lots of personality with the upholstered buttons, studs and piping that I'd so carefully finished, but without legs the "black box" would just sit on the floor, and go completely unnoticed by any of the women. This just wouldn't do! So I immediately went to my good friend Google and searched for "hardware used to mount removeable wooden legs/feet to furniture and up popped many links, of course. Too many to count I'm sure, but the very first link that was at the top of the page was Midlandhardware.com and when I clicked it I was immediately brought into their website and what do you suppose was the very first product that appeared on their home page? You guessed it! Mounting hardware for removable table legs/feet! They had several choices from the most heavy duty to the smaller light weight ones for things like homemade childrens furniture and of course ottomans! I immediately found one that should be a perfect fit for this project and at $1.18 each, I was giddy with excitement! Not only did I find exactly what I needed in record time, the price was pretty terrific! Then for the real test, how quickly could I get it delivered? I didn't want to pay a bunch extra for shipping but I would have done it just to make sure I could show off my latest revamp (and first attempt at reupholstering anything! But I didn't need to pay anything extra because their go to company for shipping is FedEx! They do cost a bit more than UPS or the USPS, but those companies are like snail mail in comparison to FedEx! So, my worst fears were turned completely upside down and I had the best 2 minutes and 30 seconds time of my life when I found Midland Hardware online! Their products are great and the price for the 4 mounting brackets I ordered was only $4.72! Less than the cost to ship them! How can they make a profit with prices like that?! "
