"TERRIBLE Company. Ordered living room set, jan 9th, told order would ship 2/6 never did, lots of back and forth emails with a bunch of different ship dates given to me. Was all complete lies and story changed every time I called. To make long story short I cancelled order Feb 27. was told my card would be credited 3-5 business days. I was not credited, I called and told they would do it right away again they never did. After all the lies this company told me I opened cardholder dispute and the credit card company got my money back for me. After all the lies and headache I would highly recommend shopping somewhere else."

"I had the displeasure of working with this company. They represent a find product (Berg) beds and Berg should pull their product from their store. They for 4 months misrepresented my order, changed their story and after 4 months of my children sleeping on the floor, cancelled my order. To date - no one has responded from this company to the BBB or other avenues and I am out my $5000. I after 5 months of attempting other avenues to get my money returned (I never received my product ever) still do not have my money returned. I always take on line reviews with a grain of salt. But it has been 8 months and I do not have my beds nor do I have my money back and nor does this company respond to any avenue of communication. I would NEVER NEVER NEVER use Living in Comfort. I would hate for other customers to experience what I have. One employee was helpful and all others not. Please be careful if you use this company."

"I truly wish I had found this site before dealing with this place. Seriously, my experience was horrendous - and not unlike many others here. Almost verbatim scenario. Even the same customer service person, "Jenny," if she actually exists. I've had emails from "Jenny's" account which were actually signed by Brittany. The live chat person is always "Jenny," no matter when you log in. What an absolute joke.

Anyway... I digress. We placed an order for a Falcon Reclining 2pc Sectional Sofa on February 17. Yes, FEBRUARY 17. At the time it was quoted to ship in 10-14 days "Guaranteed." In the first week of March I inquired about the item and was told there was a slight delay on the fabric and that it was due to ship out on March 10. On March 13 I still had not heard anything about my order and sent another inquiry, at which point I was told that actually, a whole piece of my item was on backorder (which means I can only presume that the March 10 ship date was a complete farce) and it was now due to ship out on April 25 - totaling to more than 2 months of delay. Infuriated about the lack of communication, I was offered a pathetic (but better than nothing, I thought) discount for my inconvenience. It turns out that it WAS nothing, the discount was never issued anyway. I was also assured there would be NO further delay at this time. Reluctantly, we decided we could wait it out even though we had no sofa in our new apartment.

Fast forward to April 27, and there was still no word. I contacted them again and was told that the order was CANCELLED due to it being a further month of delay. Who cancelled it? And why wasn't I told about the delay OR the cancellation? I don't know. I had to chase them down to find this information out. But at this point I was happy to hear it. I received a confirmation notice of the cancellation and was told the card would be refunded. Great. The saga is over.

3 weeks later and there's still no sign of a refund. I have received no response with my regular course of email contact, nobody answers the phone, and the live chat person "Jenny" tells me to call the number (of course!).

We have filed an investigation with AMEX. AVOID AVOID AVOID.

I'm convinced that the people writing wonderful reviews here are shambolic, and this place is a total racket. I signed up for this website just to vent my fury.

"I would NEVER order from this company again!!!! I was debating on ordering from them with the bad reviews I saw but they insured me everything would be fine..NOT! I placed the order on March 17th was told it would be here April 11th Called to ask what is going on and Jen said it was on the truck they couldnt find my house and would be there the April 14th called 15th Jen still lied! I called the trucking company and they have never gotten the order! WTH!! I called talked to Josh and he said he would refund the money right a way..Well he we are May 5th and still no refund I called today and they keep hanging up on me!! I would not buy form them EVER AGAIN!! THEY ARE NOTHING BUT LIARS!!!"

"I placed an order for a sofa and chair and a half on February 14, 2014. I have received nothing but a run around from the company as to when I am going to receive it. It was supposed to ship two weeks ago, they gave me a tracking number that didn't even exist. Then it was stated that the furniture was shipping this Wednesday, yesterday, and I would receive the tracking number. Well no tracking number and again no idea when the furniture is going to ship. My credit card was charged the instant I placed the order. I canceled the order today and was told I should see my money in 2 - 3 business days. All I can say is, this better be the truth. I am done with being tossed around and being lied to on a daily basis for the last two weeks. When I placed the order, I was told my furniture would be delivered in 10 days. Far cry from 6 weeks and still no furniture! "

"i placed an order for 2 chairs on Dec. 17th. My credit card was immediately charged. A few promised delivery dates in January never happened. On Feb. 3rd was told the chairs were back ordered. The order was cancelled on that date and I received an email that in 3-5 business days my credit card would be credited. This never happened. Customer service would say credit WAS APPPLIED AND referred me to the accounting depatment. They only let you leave a message. Not once did they email or return my phone call. They had all information including order number and credit card number. customer service keeps referring you to accounting supervisors Victor and Josh. Great supervisors who never call you back. This company is a joke. I have finally stopped calling and disputed the charge thru my credit card company.Way too many hours on the phone leaving messages and no one ever calls back. They sure are quick to take your money. They have had mine for over 3 months!!!!"

I ordered bunk beds with a trundle on Nov. 11. I placed the order with this company because they said they were "In Stock" and "Ship in 1-2 weeks". Within that time, I called and mad a slight change to the order, being told it would only change the ship date by 2 days. After that new ship day came and went I called and was told the manufacturer delayed the order and now it wouldn't ship until 12/11, with it arriving 12/18. I specifically placed this order in time to have the beds here and set-up for the holidays since I'm hosting my whole family and need the beds for my nieces that will be here. At this time, I'm disappointed but can still make it work. Now, today is 12/11, I tried calling and emailing the ALL DAY yesterday, just to MAKE SURE everything was still on schedule. NO ONE REPLIED TO ANYTHING. So, I started my day today with a phone call and someone answered, as they went to track my order I was "disconnected". When I tried to call back no one answered for about 20 tries! FINALLY, someone decided to pick-up and told me that my order had been further delayed, now it wasn't even going to SHIP until 12/18 and arrive AFTER Christmas. The company never once decided it would be a good idea and contact me to let me know about any of this. I AM LIVID!! I cancelled my order with them and now all I can do is try to stop others from making the same mistake I did DO NOT SHOP HERE! Oh, and a=on top of all of that, they double charged my credit card for the initial order as well.

"I could NOT be more pleased with the communication, product, price matching , delivery and over all customer service I received when purchasing my gorgeous acrylic chairs. Jenny, went out of her way to help me order, track, communicate with manufacturer on my behalf and remedy a situation with some missing screws. They were sent Fed Ex to me within a few days. All is now well, and I love my chairs!"

"Horrible. Paid in full when I purchased. Was told the couch would arrive and at the end of July. August came and I had to call them to find out that it would be another 2 months. Cancled the order and refund never came. It took American Express 2 months to get my money back. Please don't make the same mistake I made. This company is great until they have your money then they bye bye customer service. "

"DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. I had to file a claim through BBB, and my bank to have my money refunded to my account. This was after SEVERAL attempts to resolve this matter directly with the company. Basically, I was charged for an item I never received. When I requested my money be refunded, I received an email statiwound account would be refunded within 3 days. This simply never happened! I did not receive an apology from this company for the inconvenience they caused. Please heed to my warning and stay away from this company!"

"Horrible company. Had the same shipping and customer service issue with "jenny". I do a lot of shopping online through folks and this is up there with the top TWO Worst events ever. Placed and order, was immediately charged, and the item did not ship for over a month. In customer serive chat regarding shipment of item, Jenny just left the conversation... no leaving cues or anything. Also sent numerous emails with no response. Considering how much the website touts customer service this is appaling. please do not use this site to purchase anything."
