"Ordered a bedroom set 11/16/2012 and now it is 06/03/2013 and I have yet to receive my bedroom set... Call call and call with nothing , now the number is disconnected and I am our my $1300.00... Can anyone please tell me if there is anything I can do"

"Do not buy anything from this company. I paid for a dining set that they delayed shipment on for 2 months and then told me it had been discontinued. I have been waiting weeks for a refund. When I called they put me on hold and hung up on me, I have emailed and gotten no response. Do not buy anything from this company.

Update - after calling five more times I did finally get a refund check.

"My mom ordered a bed set 1/11/13. They said it would shipped in 2 weeks and as of now she still hasn't received it. They have yet to give her a specific date for when it will be delivered, plus they took the money out of her account. Unfortunately my mom didn't do research before she placed her order, & she still doesn't know about the many negative reviews dealing with the site.
I always research companies before placing an online order with them.
I order a bed set from furniturecart.com on 1/16/13, about a week after my mom ordered hers and I received my furniture in perfect condition 2/2/13. Me having my furniture delivered before her even though she ordered before me is making her very uneasy. My mom works too hard to have her money stolen and I hope she receives her order soon.

"Never, never make the mistake I did by ordering from this questionable store. They ship damaged, knock-off furniture and then delay and deny until recovery efforts pass time limits. Luckly for me my credit card company is now handling claim but haven't resolved as yet. "Steve" and "Igor" seem to be the only employees and seem to have limited English language skills. "

"DO NOT ORDER FROM FURNITURE XO!!!!! I made this mistake and am regretting every minute of it. Their customer service is terrible. You might not even receive what you ordered, and even if you did, if something is broken, they will not replace it.

I placed an order for a bedroom set on June 21st, 2012. Two months and five phone calls later (I literally had to call at least once a week to remind them that they need to process and ship my order), the bedroom set arrived. Everything was great at that point, except that my headboard was broken.

I called and spoke with "Steve", who apparently did not provide a last name and was probably the only customer rep working for this company. Steve told me that "the claim department" (which I don't think exists) will file a claim with the shipping company. I keep calling every week, and two weeks later Steve told me that the claim was denied on the basis that I had signed a document when I received the shipment confirming that the shipment was in good condition when I received it. I, of course, wanted to dispute this claim because at the time I thought I was just signing to confirm that the shipment had been delivered.

I called the shipping company and was told that the I would need the claim number in order to dispute the claim. But Furniture XO refuses to provide the claim number. Steve said that this information is confidential and cannot be disclosed to customers. He said that all he can tell me is that the claim had been filed and that it had been denied. To this date, they have provided no proof that this claim was even filed, and they are refusing to replace my broken headboard.

THIS IS A SCAM. I will be spreading this review all over the net to warn future victims of this horrible company.

"AVOID**AVOID***AVOID, I placed my order on april 14th 2012 for an ashley kids bed for my little daugheter who was so excited to get a new bed so as many of you looked online to fine furniturexo prices cheap and i could save more if i pay by a check (big mistake) anyway i waited 4 months no delivery and no refund.almost impossible to reach on the phone.on july 24th i got hold of steve and told me the order will canceled and i should get my refund 7 to 14 days (i have a cancelation email) today augst 23rd and still no refund. i filed a complain with BBB and PA attorney general. so im out $860..my little daughter is heart broken as i work part time and had to save to get her a new bed."

"Placed Order on 7/31/12. Order was placed online, and delivery estimate was 1-4 weeks. On 8/14 my order went from Processing to "processing - on hold."

I tried their live chat, which was never responded to, and I also sent an e-mail trying to find out what "On hold" means, again no response.

On 8/16/12 I called (for the second time, they seem to keep very strange hours for their phone support, often times no matter what selection you choose you end up in voicemail limbo) and spoke to "Steve".

From the outset, he was horrible to deal with, rude, and pushy. I was just calling to find out what the change in status of the order meant, and ended the phone call getting hung up on. Steve informed me that "On hold" means that the furniture has left the manufacturer and is on its way to their distribution center, and that it would be another 2-3 weeks before delivery.

I asked him why it was so difficult to communicate this with customers, and why they believed it was my responsibility to check on them when I am paying a considerable amount of money for their company's services....

Long story short, Steve continued to attempt to strong arm the call and talk over me, without listening to the fact that I wasn't calling to be a jerk, but just to be informed. I wanted to eat on my new dining room table! After the experience I received with Steve I asked him to cancel my order, and was then told there would be a restocking fee. When I disagreed with this, he promptly told me that I could dispute their charges all I like but they never lose, and then proceeded to hang up on me.

When I immediately called back, I was popped back into their voicemail dungeon.

After a few hours I called, and lo and behold Steve answered the call. When I asked for his supervisor, he said that he was the supervisor, and asked what he could do for me. I explained that since he was the one who hung up on me earlier I wanted to talk to someone else, and he said that was the best he could do for me.

He cared nothing about saving the relationship, or the sale, or the reputation of his company. To take a call from someone who is just trying to check their order and turn it into a cancellation is wise business practice indeed. And as it seems that this is a standard practice for them, and reading a lot of reviews I would venture to guess they all spoke to Steve (He seems to be the only employee there besides the nervous girl who reads their menu as if at gunpoint)

Whether a customer is spending $1.50 on a pack of gum, or $600 on a dining room table, they deserve to be treated with respect and kindness. You know, as if you value them.

Bottom line, I wouldn't even recommend this online merchant to my enemies.

"Hello all I recently purchased a sectional sofa from furniturexo and had not read the reviews 1st. I have called left messages, emailed and tried live help all with no response. I placed order on Friday June 29 2012 and as of today still don’t know when it is coming in. The sofa cost me over a 1000 dollars and am very nervous I may not have anything to show for it. I am not saying that this company is bad but they don’t seem to communicate well with the customers. Please feel free to contact me with questions or answers. Who knows maybe my next post maybe a good one for furniturexo if I do get my couch

Update its now august 16 2012 and i still cannot get ahold of this company filled a complaint with the BBB and am waiting to hear the results. As of sept. 4rth i still have no furniture opened complaint with attorney generals office.

finally got checks today Oct 26th two seperate checks totaling the full amount. For anyone out there always call in and press option 1 to talk to sales. It is the only way to talk with steve and also start the 14 day refund process early.

"AVOID, AVOID, AVOID!!! DO NOT MAKE THE MISTAKE OF DOING BUSINESS WITH THIS COMPANY! I placed two separate orders with FurnitureXO in February of 2012. My calls within the first few months were answered and I was told that my orders had not yet made it to the company's distribution center. I kept getting brushed off and the estimated delivery date kept getting pushed back. The last time I reached a live person, I was told that they COULD NOT GIVE ME AN ESTIMATED DELIVERY DATE! I asked for a refund and was told that they "can't process refunds over the phone". I was told to send an email to admin@furniturexo.com in order to cancel my order and receive a refund. My request for a refund was sent and I have not heard anything from the company about when I can expect to receive it.

I will (if possible) update this post as things continue to unfold. I will not just let this go and neither should you if you've been scammed by this company. I believe someone has already started a class action lawsuit. If you have any questions or further information, please feel free to contact me.

"I ordered a sectional and a bedroom set from XO. They are not good about returning phone calls...or even answering the phone ususally...but in 40 days I got what I ordered. It was well packaged and I was only missing 1 handle screw out of 5 pallets of furniture....not bad IMO. I was hesitant after reading several unfavorable reviews, however....I would definitely order from them again, they saved me a bunch of money...and the furniture was exactly like what I saw in the Ashley furniture showroom."

"This is the worst online company ever. They never respond to emails, my items has been charged to my CC, but still shows as processing! When I finally got hold of someone he was rude, like me asking for my items was an inconvience! Its been 9 weeks since I ordered, the site said 4 weeks, I was told that the item was back ordered, but no one ever contacted me, I was then told it would ship out next week, well that was 2 weeks ago, now it still shows processing and again no one will answer me. Thankfully I used my American Express Card, time to file a dispute"

We ordered one piece of furniture in May, in June I finally call and find it's on hold. Who knows why, but they make me reorder. Today I call again since it's been a month, they said they'll call the factory and get an answer in 2 more weeks.

When I asked to cancel the order the operator laughed and said "Okay". I'm sure I'll never get refunded and I would recommend that no one orders from these people.
