not able to redeem discount code for March 21 2018 recieved in email

Online orders very confusing/in-store pickup unsatisfactory
"Originally ordered for in-store pickup at 8:30am. Received acknowledgement immediately. At 4:00pm, having not received a confirmation, I called the store to find that there was only a floor model available and that's why it hadn't been processed. Some level of communication would be better. I then decided to order for free delivery. This was confusing because during the checkout process, it defaulted to in-store pickup again and the selector for delivery appeared grey (traditionally reserved for 'disabled'). I clicked it anyway and nothing happened. After that, I determined that since the system believed one to be available for store pickup, the delivery option was disabled. So, I tried setting a different default store but couldn't find one that didn't appear to have one in-stock. Reaching the check-out page, I once again attempted to change my order type to delivery and this time, the selection work (even though it was grey). I did manage to successfully place my order but only out of sheer will and determination. I would not advise relying on the determination of your customers as a standard business practice. Additionally, the representative with whom I spoke came off as disinterested at best. I had the general impression that I was disturbing them. "
