"A month a go a placed an order and they started hounding me for payment within 2 weeks, then after one letter, said they were NOT giving me the credit they had granted but if I send 25% of what I owe they would release the next order. I paid it in full online and then got on chat where some obviously ignorant representative from who knows where told me that if I had paid it then I needed to call Carol Wright to let them know or they would not release what I had just ordered recently I don't even remember what it was but told her if they can't figure that out on their own accounts they could keep it.Terrible experience! They are a big come on."
LOST MY PACKAGE - CUSTOMER SERVICE REP'S WORTHLESS
"I placed an order with CWG on 1/20/17. On 1/24/17 they sent me an email saying my order had shipped, and provided a link for tracking my shipment. I clicked on the link and it said "1-24-18 shipment information sent to FedEx." For the next five days, I went online to check for tracking updates and there were none. I plugged the tracking number into FedEx's site, and they said they had not received the package from the sender. Finally, on 1/29/18, I called CWG customer service and spoke with one representative, who had a heavy (south Asian/Indian) accent. I said I wanted to know what happened to my order - that it was supposedly shipped 5 days ago but the shipper had no record of receiving it. I could barely understand her but she kept repeating stock phrases like "your order is in transit" and "orders are shipped within 7-10 days." I said I wanted to know why FedEx had not received my order. She would not answer that question but kept repeating the stock lines. Then she said that my order was shipped not by FedEx but by USPS. I asked the tracking number (which was the same). I said thank you, and went online to plug the tracking number into USPS. USPS said they had not received the package from the sender. I called back and spoke to another representative (with a similar accent) who gave me the exact same song and dance. I asked to speak with a supervisor at least 5 times and I was always told that the supervisors were not available because they were answering other calls. I kept asking, what happened to my package. He kept saying, "it's in transit." He started making up things like, "why don't you wait until the end of the week" I think just to get rid of me. After yelling at him that I must speak with a supervisor, finally someone else came on the phone (same accent). She gave all the same lines as the previous representatives with absolutely zero information to answer my question. She said the package was in transit. I said if it was in transit, the USPS site would show that. She asked whether I had contacted my local post office. I said, why haven't you given my package to USPS? and she just kept telling me to wait a few days. Talking to them is like talking to a wall. They have ZERO information, completely unable to help. Finally, I asked them to cancel my order. She said she couldn't do that. I asked to speak with their legal department. She said that they didn't have any such department. "

AFTER CALLING THE CUSTOMER SUPPORT NUMBER, THE GENTLEMAN WAS VERY NICE AND STOPPED THE CHARGES, EVEN CREDITED MY 2 CHARGERS. BUT BEWARE, IF YOU DONT CHECK YOUR ACCOUNT THEY GOT YOU !!!"
Charges your credit card over and over
"My husband ordered a pair of boots from these people. The boots that arrived were marked as a men's size ten, but were smaller than a child's shoe. We returned the boots and asked for a refund (we had to pay to return the boots). We then discovered that my husband's credit was charged for a "continuing withdrawal charge." THIS COMPANY DOES NOT SELL LEGITIMATE MERCHANDISE - THEY ONLY WANT TO GET YOUR CREDIT CARD SO THAT THEY CAN CHARGE IT OVER AND OVER. Thankfully our credit card company has protections in place so that we could dispute the charges and get it stopped. The Carol Wright company's explanation for the charge was that everyone who orders from them is automatically signed up for a 'premium program' - you don't get anything for this, they just use it as a justification for charging your credit card monthly. And we never got a refund for the boots."

"Don't order from them!First I ordered sheets / pillowcases from this company but the color was totally different than pictured so of course not to mention it took almost two weeks to get here! I told them I wanted a refund. They agreed but said I had to use their own printed postage label and I asked if they we going to pay for the return post like 99% of the companies I've dealt with do but they said "No, it would be $7.99" which is crazy since they only charged me $6.99 originally to send it! Plus they initially charged me a $1.95 "Priority Service Plus prompt free replacement for orders lost in transit" fee which I've NEVER EVER seen before!Anyway as mentioned it took weeks to get to me so I sent them back using MY OWN PACKAGE which cost me a LOT LESS than their $7.99. The woman I spoke to on November 16 said that they would NOT charge me for the postage I initially paid. They lied!I kept calling and e mailing them from Nov. 16 - today (Dec.1) and all I got was that either they hadn't received the package from me or "it's on the way to the return department". So today (DEC. 1) I received an e mail saying " We have received your return of the Sheets and Pillowcase-. A credit in the amount of $ 27.68 was applied to your credit card on 11/30 for this item. Please allow one to two billing cycles for the credit to be reflected on your billing statement. " I just called them and was told that they are only crediting me $27.68 as they did not add in the credit the $7.99 label free which I never used!I just spoke to a rep (probably from the Philippines) and he said that supposedly he would also credit me the $7.99. That remains to be seen!Bottom line is that I would advise anyone NOT to deal with this company unless they want a lot of headaches!"
They resell returns
"They sent me a pair of aqua blue gladiator shoes there was black scuff on the upper. I returned item that same day. They sold me ruffled curtains that are very poorly constructed with runs across the material they told me to keep. I kept ordering giving them more chances. The last straw was an order for $40 (2) items when the bill came they wanted $20 for first payment. My FICO credit score is excellent. I called to ask why the payment was so high. Their reply was I'd returned items in past. They refused to lower the payment so I pd for the items in full and am giving an unbiased truthfull review. I do not recommend this company. I ordered many pairs of sandles & shoes 6-8 prs for summer they are not good quality. Most everything they sell is poor quality. They punish you for returning defective products. I'm not a valued customer, I was never late on a payment. Low quality, selling returns and poor customer service is my opinion of Carol Wrights."

"Well it's more then that. My mother died! We found 2 packages unopened at her house. Do we know when she ordered the items, No. Do we even know what is in the boxes, No. Do we need whatever is in the box NO. I thought we could just return them and call it a day. NO, Can is speak to a supervisor, NO. But you can pay to return the items if you like. My reply NO! After asking 5 times to speak to a supervisor I was told let me see... on hold then he came back Sorry they are busy. (I wonder why maybe the products are bad?)Also I wanted to speak to a Supervisor since I have NO idea what this company sells but I wanted to know what I need to do to make sure her account if any was closed. If she subscribed to anything with this company that it was stopped and cancelled. I can see why they would not want to be helpful in this matter everyone wants a dollar. "I received a catalog that I didn't order (and am curious how they got my info). What kind of creeps send a catalog that appears to be geared toward elderly people but has **** items in the middle of the ads? If anyone else has had this problem, I'd recommend getting a form ps1500 from your local post office. You will have legal recourse if these morons send more of their tacky junk mail after 30 days and it also gives the option of blocking all sexually explicit or inappropriate mailings in the future (from all companies) if you have children under 19 (which I do). "

"I shopped with them years ago but now you get the Phillipines and they do not send a confirm order number by email anymore. The Rep. lied to me today when I called. Never sent the email. I hope I receive my order. You wait 20 min.or longer on the phone and on chat on the site. I am done with them. Just like Fingerhut who is now in India."
Confusing and deceiving advertising and being lied to when placing order.
"I ordered over the phone what was advertised as "Classic Cotton Combo as low as $12.99". However, when I called, I was talking to someone who I believe was in India. Prior to this, when I ordered, I would speak to an employee who knew the products, could answer questions, and could give insight into what I was ordering. I asked at least twice, "Am I ordering three complete sets (combos) in white, turquoise, and coral? The answer was that indeed I was and would be getting the complete order in 7 - 10 business days. Today when the order arrived, I received only the capris, sans tops. I am returning the capris pants and will not be calling them again. The helpful service when you place an order and need questions answered honestly is no longer available."
"I am super dissatisfied with the, I bought 3 items. They came 3 different days. I am sure the combined shipping went out the window. I bought 2 men's belts. They were mis-sized..too small. And 2 shirts. Same thing..too small. And I bought a dress 2 sizes too big and it fit. They are also slow to ship and dont keep any tracking information on their site. My 7 year old daughter was going through the catalog and says "Daddy I don;t understand this page"...it was 2 pages of Dildos and vibrators and erection rings! This scumbag company somehow thinks these are compatible items in the same catalog???!!! I don't have an issue with adult toys but they should be their own sealed catalog or something .....not sent to a family. "Placed an order on the 8th of June for the first time on this site. Found a coupon I could use. The order form and confirmation email had the discount from the order applied. Carol Wright Gifts charged my card without the discount. When I called about it I am told its only for member. I asked for a supervisor who wouldn't even take the call instead sent a message through a young girl who became very flippant upon talking with her supervisor. So the coupon wasn't honored. I ask e d so why your website and the order aren't the same? No one knows. How do you know if the coupon is accepted? You don't until you are charged. I will never shop with them again. Irritated"
