OH I'M SO SORRY THE SHIPPING LABEL WAS PRINTED BUT PACKAGE NEVER SHIPPED! HER BIRTHDAY GIFT IS A NEW BEDROOM SUITE BUT GUESS WHAT HER NEW BEDDING WON'T BE THERE BECAUSE IT DIDN'T GET SHIPPED!!! After being rudely treated twice, and observing one "associate" virtually run from a request for help, I put $160 worth of stuff on a clear spot on the floor and walked. NEVER shop at this store, and B,B & B now supplants Best Buy as JERK STORE OF THE YEAR!"
"I wrote an online review about a bad product I received as a gift from BB&B. I did not criticize the company itself- just the manufacturer. Still they offered to send me a $20 gift card. Sounds good, right? Well I sent them my address and it never came.After a few months I followed up. They claimed they sent it and "it was returned" because I wasn't there to sign for it. Funny- when this happens there is a slip (or three) tacked up on the door or mailbox ... there was none. I confirmed my address and they "re-sent" it. Again, nothing for about a month ... I contacted them again. They gave me a new story about my having a "forwarding address" - which I do not (I confirmed with USPS this was not the case).OK - LITERALLY at least 12 times they have claimed to send me this but have not. Considering that I have not received ONE "missed you" slip from any of the people they supposedly sent this with (USPS, FedEx, etc.) I have come to the conclusion that they never sent it, but continue to claim they will simply to be annoying. Such deliberate abuse is nothing short of harassment in my opinion."
"You should hope they get it right! I ordered an area rug from bedbathandbeyond.com, but they shipped an electric griddle instead. I immediately contacted customer service, and they replied promptly that I should use the attached shipping label to return the incorrect item; but there was no attached label. I called and, after a ten-minute wait, spoke to a rep who emailed me a shipping label. It has now been nine days since they received the returned griddle, and I still have not received a refund. I'm sure I will eventually get my money back, but I will never do business with BBB again, nor recommend them to anyone else."

"First of all, what a big mistake to leave my 20% off coupon on one in-store item at home. I went in to the store located in Franklin TN on Cool Springs Blvd to purchase a Cuisinart Panini Maker. I tried to use the mobile text offer to get the discount but get this... the coupon doesn't arrive for 24 hrs! Anyway, they refused to work with me on avoiding the time and expense to return and get the appliance in time for my Mom birthday. Seriously?? I asked for the manager and district manager's names which they obliged. It was a great way of saying Yes, I deserve the Retailers Moron Award. Please allow 24 hours for processing. So, we ordered the Panini Maker from Amazon for just a few dollars more than the 20 OFF net price. (Free shipping by the way). A few things that I hope they consider as I'm going to share my story on various websites and their corporate office. My parents own a cabin rental business and maintain the properties with everything that Bed Bath and Behind the Times sells. My parents are just DYING for a reason to see overpriced brick and mortar Neanderthals who play discount games close their doors. Oh well, I hope 30 bucks was worth it!"
"I WONT SHOP AT ANY BBB.This proves to me that BBB does not care about their customers. The first was how I was treated in the store.The bonus was how the corporate office didnt acknowledge, handle or reply to my complaint,telling me BBB DOES NOT CARE.I have been shopping at BBB for years in many locations.I was at Broad Street in Glen Allen VA today. I was waiting patiently in line to check out.There was an abandoned empty cart and I moved it aside, so people could go around it.What a concept. A dyed red headed woman with a nametag of Lisa comes up to my left and starts b1tching me out.Nasty tone "What line are you in?There are 2 lines here!"How about saying excuse me first? I told her I was courteous enough to move the cart and I will go to whatever cashier is next.There is no way you could form 2 lines from where I was standing bc there is no much stuff in the aisles.Well, she continued to yap, meanwhile one cashier became available.She told me it was open.Yeah, I can see that. I said 'and I would be already checking out if you stopped talking'.This was all for no reason. She drank too much coffee or fought with her other or thinks bossing people around in a nasty way is good management skills.I started to check out with the cashier with my cart behind me. Well, I guess she had a problem with that.I had 2 personal items in the cart, one being a hair brush.She interrupted me with” are you keeping these?'I replied those are my personal items dont touch those.She continued to yap.I had to repeat “those are my personal items dont touch those' and she jumped because she actually listened to what I said.Up until now she was just hearing herself talk.Yapping on and on about nothing, riding my a$$ for no reason.I said 3 times 'Change your tone” that was my last warning.Her reply was-get this “I am just being friendly"in the same nasty tone. Really?Id hate to see what you consider nasty. Finally I said 'you are a bitch'.The cashier decided that he had never heard that word before and thought (I guess) I was in the wrong (he didnt hear the first part of the conversation) and said' I dont have to check you out' several times and gathered my items, ran to the main counter.If boss lady was so concerned about the carts and the lines, she could have gathered the cart herself (I moved it) and jumped on a register.WORK. Instead you start picking fights and bossing around people who pay you.NO you decided you were going to ride my a$$ for 5 minutes and you picked the wrong girl. I am not going to take your sh1t, tell me where to go as if I dont already know and then spend $$ there.Great manners, people skills and management. So I can see that everyone I came in contact with there today is the same-attitude-I dont give a sh1t.I didnt finish what I had to do and came home, called the store, got bad manners , hung up on by one manager, called back got joe and got a unsympathetic' uh huh'.Tried to send an email on their website.I called the toll free # and it is being escalated to a district level.3 hours I will never get back. Now I have to go back out.I found a phone # and called.Spoke to a courteous rep who said she was in Massachusetts.She had a ‘district manager’ call me and left a voice mail the same day.Her name is Patricia Matho (?) cell phone 703 678-xxxx.I texted her and when I heard nothing I left a voicemail stating I want either an email or a fax # since I didn’t want to rehash it verbally- I had written it down.I NEVER HEARD BACK FROM HER.This is February. Patricia is hoping I shall forget.I didn’t and I won’t.I worked in retail starting in high school until years after I graduated from college.Guess what linens and bath shop Just as I thought-a 20 something that does not give a sh1t, just like the 2 ‘store managers’ I spoke to that day.I never knew in all of my years in retail that a store can have more than one top dog at the same time on the same day.I suspect a lie.LOL. "If you enjoy scraping a cheese grater over your eyes twice a day, order from Bed Bath and Beyond. If you want to walk in oncoming traffic just to be ran over time and time again, order from Bed Bath and Beyond. If you want to feel like you're being strung along in a bad relationship AND you're the one paying all the costs, then, by all means, order something from Bed Bath and Beyond. I ordered a rocking chair MORE THAN A MONTH AGO for my sister and her husband. They were expecting their first child. The chair came with 2 LEFT LEGS. My brother in law sent an email to a very incompetent employee, Maria Villanue. He spoke with her on the phone, sent her email recapping the conversation, included in his email was a picture and all other information she stated she needed. THEN Maria and some of her counterparts would randomly reach out to us needing the SAME INFORMATION that was in the email. I have emailed Maria twice and, guess what, NO RESPONSE. Here we are more than a month later and we have a THIRD left leg...... BUT NO RIGHT LEG...... Every time I call in I get told "one will be overnighted to you". I'm still waiting.Save yourself some heartache.... DON'T ORDER FROM BED BATH AND BEYOND. They don't care about their customers. In fact, I've been told they send a gift card when you feel out a survey that is negative. DON'T BOTHER. I wouldn't give your card as a present and I won't spend it. Save it for someone that has plenty of time to deal with this nonsense. Your company should be embarrassed by the lack of effort you put into your customer experience. You see, it's a simple transaction, I give you money for a product, you give me the product. All of it. Quickly. That's how the business world works. Bed Bath and Beyond seems to lack business knowledge and this lack of knowledge, in my experience, comes from leadership. Take my gift card and everyone else that you try to "buy off" and get yourself some leadership classes. Looking on Glassdoor and other avenues, it would seem that people are only half satisfied working for you. Executives come into the stores and don't make eye contact with the associates. In store management treats the employees like children, no room for growth, promotions come from outside the company. It would seem that Bed Bath and Beyond not only has no clue how to treat their customers, but also their employees. Unhappy employees create unhappy customers. I will never have anything to do with this company once I get you guys to pick this chair up. Maybe you can create a better working environment so your customers can enjoy their shopping experience. Start from within. The only person I'm interested in speaking to at this point is a supervisor, Maria's if that's possible. Any other, don't worry with reaching out. "

"Absolutely the worse on line company I have ever dealt with. I ordered a pillow and they shipped a stained damaged used pillow in a new package. I returned it and waited almost a month before I received a partial refund (after much communicating). They didn't refund my shipping charge even though it was their fault I had to return the item. Their attitude sucks!"
"I ordered a sheet set at the end of December and as I live abroad had it sent to a friend in CA to bring down for me. I paid for expedited shipping to make sure it would arrive on time. The order was delayed and I did not get it, so the customer service department very politely apologized and promised a refund for both the product and the shipping. Almost 1 month and 4 very frustrating calls later, I still have not been refunded a cent. Unacceptable BB&B."
