"I ordered a motherboard and a fan grill from this site on the 24th of march. Today on march 28th I finally called them to see if it had shipped. They proceed to inform me that they do not have the item (motherboard) in stock but they've been on the phone with the manufactuer to try to get me one. During the time between my initial purchase and 28th they raised the price of the motherboard. They are selling a product they don't have and a product they know they won't get. The operator tried to offer me a similar model. I refused, accused them of bait and switch fraud and canceled my order."
"I ordered a motherboard on fri.(1/06/06)and recieved it 3-1/2 days later with no problems and came shipped boxed with all the hardware.Found them to be very profesional easy to deal with ,highly recommend them,will also buy from them again . "

"Was very please to buy computer hardwares from ATACOM, shipping is fast, customer service is great!!! This is my 8th time buying from them, and it's always been smooth on all the transactions. Every time before I buy things from them, I always call them first and find out the availibility of products cause I knew that not just them but lots of online companies sometimes just got too busy to update their inventory(From my experiences). By calling them, they also give me lots of helpful computer tech tips such as which motherboard is sutiable for which CPU, Memory,... "I used to think Atacom was a good company, but that was five years ago. I don't know what happened in that time frame, but what kind of company shows items in stock on their website when they KNOW they don't have any? Atacom. Atacom caused me to pay a lot more on a product that had a skyrocketing price because they kept me on the hook for TWO WEEKS telling me they would ship me my product, then blamed it on the manufacturer that they wouldn't get any more in, saying the manufacturer wanted them to bundle a video card with another video card or they couldn't sell it. That's funny, ZipZoomFly got more of the same card in stock today and didn't require anyone to bundle anything. Liars, cheaters, can't speak english, STAY FAR AWAY."
"Deceptive website and horrible customer experience. The item I ordered from them is listed on their website with no indication that it is out of stock. However, after waiting nearly two weeks from the order date, I was finally informed by a very terse email that the item was out of stock with no expected fulfillment date. Wish I had checked this site first before ordering from them!"
"The website looked a bit shady to me compared to other sites so I decided to check resellerratings to see what was going on with them.It seemed like they were a good company to work with so I went ahead and placed an order for a video card.I didn't receive confirmation of my order until the next night, and didn't see anything about my order status on their website, even though I had an order number given to me via e-mail.I felt a bit lost, so I went ahead and gave them a call. After one or two minutes I got a hold of someone with rather broken english, but that wasn't a problem for me to deal with. The problem was that they told me they did not have my video card in stock, and that they would have it the next week, on a Monday.I don't understand how they could let me order something that they did not have in stock. Typically these retailers don't list anything on their website unless they actually have stock of the item.Another thing that bugged me was that a friend ordered the same thing, but got a different ETA (Wednesday instead of Monday). I was puzzled at this, because it seems like no-one knew when they were going to get a shipment in.I asked that my order be canceled and they were glad to do it. Very similar to another user where they said, "Yes," then promptly hung up on me without notice.I didn't enjoy their website, their status of ordering, and especially their customer service. Never again Atacom.There are much better retailers to choose from, why try out the shady ones?"
"Do not use this company! They list a product as in sock on their website when they have no stock and know they will not get anymore. After two weeks of saying they are on their way they now say they are having problems with the MFG, they want them to bundle the video card with another video card. Should not be *OUR* problem since they are still taking orders for the video card! When on the phone with their CS reps, I asked why they still had it in stock on their website, and the manager replied "I'm canceling your order" then hung up on me."
"Extremely deceptive selling practice. Sells items that are NOT in-stock and do not notify customers of the lack of inventory. When called to confirm order status, was told that it would arrive next week (twice, in 2 weeks). After 3 weeks of no show, I finally received an e-mail stating that there is NO ETA on the item. Buyers beware!!! Do not buy from them."
"Unhappy with the total experience. Ordered a sound card and CPU fan w/heatsink from their website only to find several days later that they no longer carried either item. They suggested replacements which I agreed to only after they assured me that the fan was the same size as the one I had originally ordered. Received the fan - it didn't fit. They found another one and assured me, again, that this one would fit. I told them to go ahead and ship it but also asked them for the brand and model number. I went online to verify the size and in so doing, checked out the price on several other websites. Turns out that Atacom's price, in their email confirmation a few days later, was more than twice that of the highest price I found. I informed them that I was going to refuse shipment unless they met the lower prices. They didn't respond so I refused shipment when it arrived. They also charged me for shipping the replacement even tho the error on the first item was theirs. They refused to credit me for the shipping cost on the replacement part. I finally settled with them and paid them 50% of that shipping cost. Overall - very unsatisfactory! "
"They charged my card and attempted a bait and switch telling me what I order was unavailable due to a typo - conveiently enough, this typo was around for 2 weeks before I ordered and has not been changed since. Avoid at all costs."
"Great experience! I am always skeptical of Electronics stores that i dont know> i thought i had issues with my product. I did not. they have emailed back and forth with all sorts of information that goes above and beyond the call of duty. very very impressed! I told them that this and B&H photo will be the only place i buy on the web!"
"Ordered a Vantec NexStar3 HDD enclosure from ATACOM. They had the item in stock, and shipped at the day I ordered. The package arrived a couple of days ago. Very joyful experience! "

"I called on 03/03/05 to check the availability of a Asus motherboard. At that time, the sales told me they didn't have the product in stock, but promised to give me an update when the product was available, if I could leave my name and number. I did. A few days later, I got a call from Atacom telling me they have got shipment in. I placed my order and got the shipment in two days. I was impressed with the service, and I'll certainly recommend it to all my friends."
