Poor packaging and customer service not with the times
"Poorly packaged power supply - box too large for the unit and one deflated air bag for protection. Installed unit and it started smoking - probably due to damage from inadequate packing. Customer service said send it back at your expense - $22 shipping both directions for a $24 unit - really? Asked to at least pay for return shipping and request was ignored.Never again."

"Please see my earlier review of ATXpowersupplies.com on Site Jabber for my initial impression. I really felt like they were a reputable company so I contacted them AGAIN in July 2013 to order a second power supply, this time for my Compaq Presario SR1920NX. I was hoping to get another 630 Watt power supply since I felt that was a good choice from my purchasing decision in February 2013. When I contacted the company by email I felt like they really gave me the run around even though I just wanted a product that I was happy with already. Well their "staff" convinced me that I actually wanted a moderately more expensive 600 Watt power supply. So I went with the flow and bought it. It arrived in a thin cardboard box with absolutely no padding for protection. I went ahead and installed it. It took me about 15 minutes. It started working properly and I thought "wow this is great!" Then the first week of November 2013 my power supply started failing. And by that I meant the PC would start up and then shutdown before the desktop had fully loaded. I did some basic troubleshooting like disconnecting and re-seating all the motherboard connectors, removing my graphics card and blowing all the (very minor) dust that had accumulated inside the PC case. I was getting nowhere! Finally I re-installed the original 300 Watt OEM power supply and the PC started right up and continued to run just fine almost nonstop for the next six weeks. (I do Restart and Shutdown my PC from time to time.) I recently emailed ATXpowersupplies.com about my experiences, but i have not heard anything back."
"Worst retail experience I've ever had. I ordered a specialized PSU for my Dell, based on the item description on the website, as well as their compatibility list. When it arrived, it didn't have even half of the described connectors, including the correct ATX connector to hook up to my motherboard, and on top of that, it's "custom" mounting plate was a poorly cut piece of metal that was falling off before I even opened the box.I sent it back to them for a replacement, at full shipping cost to myself, and they sent me the same item with a bunch of adapters. When I tried connecting it to my computer, it didn't even work! I sent it back again, asking for a refund, and they responded by telling me that it worked for them and that it was too late to get my money back. When I looked at their return policies on the website, I saw that not only is there a mere one month limit on returns, they consider all of their products sold "as is" (no mention of this anywhere else on the site), take no responsibility for defects or features not as advertised, and say that the item descriptions are only the "opinion of the author".Granted, they did more for me than their website claimed they would, but I'm still out about $80 with nothing to show for it, and the customer service was absolutely ridiculous (I could never get ahold of them by phone, and my emails were occasionally responded to). Overall an extremely frustrating experience"

My power supply died out, & when I contacted Dell, of course they told me I could only purchase from them due to size constraints & proprietary hoo-ha. It fit & worked perfectly, & adds 50 watts to boot. "TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE !! ( Also Known as Two Point Enterprises ) I ordered a power supply, cables and a power supply meter on April 6, 2012. Fast shipping but the wrong power supply. The plugs were in the wrong place and were covered by the sides of the metal case and the screw holes wern't even close. For the next month, I called and left numerous messages, and sent even more E-Mails but no response. I charged back the credit card only for the amount the power supply. Today, July 8 2012, ireceived a call from them telling me to pay for return shipping or pay for the bad power supply. When I told them to send me a postage paid box, the caller told me he would turn this over to collections and place this on my credit report!! Bring it on BuBa "

"Purchased a power supply for my sony Vaio. It was shipped very quickly. Received within a week. Price was great. BUT.... when I installed in there was no power at all. Per their refund/return policy I had to pay to ship it back and they told me that they tested it and it did work. They refunded my money minus the shipping fee and also a 20% restocking fee. I wished I had read their return/refund policy prior to ordering because they are very rude about it. What a great way for a company to earn extra cash. So I was out almost $30 for a $52 dollar order and I still do not have a new power supply. So glad that my old power supply still works."

"the ATX personnel were friendly, courteous and knew their product. shipping time surpassed expectations. However, the power supply was not as advertised (noise reduction) and is very noisy. It should not be used as a repair item for home computers as you can hear the unit 'hum' throughout the house. I know they have to sell universal products but suggest sticking with he Original Equipment Mfg for Slimline computer power supplies."

"I ordered a replacement power supply and decided to upgrade to a higer watt unit to help my computer. I used the cross reference chart and decided on the 630WPS - ATX Power Supply - 630 Watt. This power supply is narrow compared to the original (as stated on site) so I needed to do a little mod to mount it into my chassis. The order was processed quickly and shipped within 24hrs of my order. I would definately use ATX again."
