Do Not Use GiftNow with Uniqlo

"Uniqlo has an option to use GiftNow. If you use GiftNow, they will apply an estimated tax base on the highest sales tax in the country, with that honor belonging to California (12%). The tax is applied regardless of whether your state charges sales tax on clothing or not. If the recipient lives in a state where no sales tax is charged, the recipient receives the tax amount in the form a gift card. This is done without your prior approval. So if you send someone a gift costing $200 you will inadvertently give the recipient an extra $24. If the recipient never redeems the gift card, guess what? Uniqlo benefits from the unused amount."

My new found love!

"I always visit this shop and I find what I need every season. Yesterday I bought two polo shirts for my husband for summer and it’s perfect fit and nice selection of colours too. And very happy with the selection of womens clothes too. And cloths in UNIQLO are very comfortable, and the color design is very simple and pure. I will buy more! UNIQLO offers something for everyone, with a great selection of clothing and accessories for men, women, and kids. Find something to love with $10 off your next purchase of $75 or more on UNIQLO!

Bad experience

"Another terrible experience with Uniqlo.
I placed my order on May 7th. Today is May 12th. They haven't processed my order yet. I ordered from Uniqlo twice in the past. It took one week for order processing, and another week for shipping, so 2 weeks in total to receive my order. One week to process orders is ridiculous. They should clearly state on their website that it takes one week for order processing not to disappoint customers. Online shops ship faster and faster to become more competitive these days, but Uniqlo is going backward to the contrary. I called Uniqlo to cancel my order, but I was told they couldn't cancel my order. It's taking forever, and can't cancel the order. Ridiculous!

update# my order has been shipped in the afternoon on May 12. They updated shipping to 2nd day.

Melbourne Uniqlo number 1

"I had been shop in this store nearly 2 years now and never had any problem even shop online twice and everything very smooth.
For me their customer service is fantastic and better than other store.I give them 4 stars because no one is perfect.
Just wondering why other gave them negatives feed back ?

uniqlo.com - poor service

"I ordered for the first time on January 4, 2016, one item. They alleged to have shipped it to my mailbox. It never arrived. i called and filed a complaint. They said someone would call me back. I got that call on February 24, 2016, just a few days shy of two months later! Then they said they would process the refund but I should call them back in 10-15 days in case I don't get the refund.

"I WILL NEVER EVER BUY FROM Uniqlo Online again for these reasons:

1. Took two weeks for my order to arrive after I fully paid for the order.

2. When my order arrived one item was missing . So called their service department and COMPLETELY WASTED 20 MINUTES WAITING ON HOLD. Come to find out that the item was out of stock. I DID NOT RECEIVE ANY out of stock notice, and to make matters worse, the customer service representative said it's going to take 5-7 business days to process the refund. I PAID FOR THE ITEM on 11/28/2015, and won't get my refund until THREE WEEKS LATER, even though Uniqlo KNEW VERY WELL AT THE TIME OF ORDER THAT THE ITEM WAS OUT OF STOCK. The packing list itself showed 0 quantity for the missing item.

The long wait time to speak with customer service was made even worse by the high volume of background noise by other operators - it was obvious a lot of other customers were having problems. Unfortunately this meant that I had to repeat myself a few times, as well as ask the customer service representative to repeat himself a couple of times. His responses and answers to my questions were robotic - they were obviously being read from some sort of cue card or answer sheet.
