"I am 70 years old and I had a hernia. One of my first concerns was repair utilizing mesh. Upon researching on the internet I came across the Ufirst Health site. I was impressed with the information presented there and decided to make the effort to get to Ft. Myers from my North Carolina home. Two weeks ago I had the surgery and today I feel great. The surgery took less than an hour, I took the pain pills only a couple of times. Even though I am still under the weight restrictions and I am careful about exercising and any sudden motions etc.,etc. I feel perfectly normal (much better than just before the operation). I would definitely recommend Dr. Tomas, his team, and the Lee Island Surgery Center where the operation was performed.
