"Alright, I'm sure that if you came upon this review, you are probably wondering if trueelec.com is a scam or not. Well be damned sure that it is. Looks too good to be true right? That's what I thought too. But hey, they have reviews written on their sites about how good their service is. They have tracking numbers provided to you if you want to check on the items that they send out everyday. They answer you emails and your chats. They assure you that they are an legit business. Well, let me tell you first hand that its all a LIE, SCAM, RIPOFF, whatever you want to call it.
I was attracted to their site because of all the reasons I mentioned above. At first they would answer all my emails, assuring me that they are legit and that they have been in the business for 3 years. Yea I trusted them. Paid for that Ipad that I always wanted. They sent me an email right away that I had to through Western Union or Money Gram. Right away that warning light went off. But because I was naive and downright stupid, I paid for it anyways. I emailed me back saying that I will get my tracking number in just 3 days! 5 days later, I emailed them asking where my tracking number was. They told me "we have bad news". They told me that because of some new rules at customs, I had to pay a tax because my item was lower priced than what it was supposed to be in the actual market. Right away I told them that I wanted my money back. They never mentioned that I had to pay some extra tax just to get my item. I knew it was too good to be true in the first place...but they said that they cannot give me a refund because they cannot get my item back from customs unless I pay for the tax. I didn't know what to do. I was not familiar with how customs worked and I already spend 340 USD for that Ipad. If I didnt pay them, then I would lose that money. I knew that there was a risk if I payed for the custom tax...and gave them a benefit of a doubt. I just want the item that I paid for.
After I told them that I sent the money, they just told me to wait for them to clear things with customs and they will give me the tracking number as soon as they get everything straightened out. I knew from that moment that I had lost everything. I sent emails after emails inquiring about my item. No reply ever since. So I tried to chat them instead. What did they tell me? "You will get your item by the end of the month." And that was it. No more replies from them ever since. They blocked me from their chat room and I never received another email from them.
I'm still trying to come into terms with my stupidity, but I hope that from my experience, at least people not fall for their scam. So please! Don't be quick to trust and as the saying goes, "if it's too good to be true, it probably is."
I ordered my ipad on May 20, 2012. It is now June 6, 2012. Still nothing.

"Trueelec is a scam!! Beware of all these Chinese sites. I was stupid enough to buy a phone. They start giving excuses after 5 days. first your item was damaged and it has to be send to the manufacturer, then there is an additional "tariff" needed to be paid to clear customs, a week later they informed me my items was shipped to the wrong place and takes another week to get the items back. When you get tired of all the excuses and ask for money back, they say I have to wait for one month to have it back...meaning I was big time SCAMMED by this website. Please do not buy anything from these Chinese websites who only accept western union and money gram. THEY ARE ALL SCAMS, all their websites look alike. They are all in Craigslist. They look for people who are looking for a better deal on electronics and I fell for it. I am so angry and mad at myself for being so stupid. Do not do the same. They do post fake tracking numbers and make you believe they are honest and trustworthy....when something is too good to be true, usually it is!!!
By the way, they change websites all the time. TRUEELEC.COM, SALABLEHUB.COM, BLESSBUYER.COM, WALLYGOODS.COM, BESTEFIRM.COM, CREDIBLEBUY.COM, BULKYSELL.COM to list a few. All their websites have the same design and the same setup. They try very hard to get you to believe in them. they need to stop stealing from people!!!!
