Ordered Swining Chair

"Placed an order online last week and did not receive a confirmation and yet my credit card was charged. Tried to create an account in order to track the shipping and could not due to the account password not be verified. Tried calling left a detailed message and not return call. Sent a detailed email and still no response. this company is a fraud!!! Contacted my credit card company and filed a fraudulent claim. I will stick to Amazon and Wayfair moving forward!!!!"

DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY! Terrible customer service and product.

"The swing stand I purchased is supposed to be for outdoor use, yet after two months in my yard the paint has bubbled and cracked all over the stand, and the metal is rusting. Completely unacceptable for a $200 stand to fail after two months. I purchased this stand as a Christmas gift in October, and we put it up in January when our new swing arrived. (I live in Georgia, so spring starts in January) I was very pleased with the look of the stand, and I expected we would be able to enjoy it for a couple of years. But by the end of February, it looked terrible! It breaks my heart that it has failed so terribly. I requested a refund but the best the Porch Swing Company offered was to send another stand with shipping at my expense, or a $50 store credit for this $200 purchase. The last thing I want is another one of these stands. It is extremely poor quality, and Porch to Patio / the Porch Swing Company does not stand by its products so I will not be purchasing from them again. I am a very unhappy and unsatisfied customer indeed. I only hope that I can keep you from making the same mistake I made in purchasing from them. "

Avoid. Misleading return policy

"AVOID AT ALL COSTS!!! On the item page it says "We want you to be happy! You may return new, unused, and resalable items within 30 days of delivery for a refund." What they don't say is that the refund is for less than half what you paid. This place is a ripoff."

Poor Customer Service & Wrong Delivery

"Twice I was sent wrong items. Second time I was billed by FedEx for pickup. Pitiful help from Porch Swing Co in resolving this despite me doing everything PSC and FedEx told me to do to correct this charge. PSC doesn’t care about customers and lack quality. Save yourself the hassle and do not order from them."

Got a porch swing from them and love it! Great quality and came within a reasonable time.

"Just make sure you are carefull when ordering. The return policy is VERY STEEP! 5% if you cancel the order within 24 hours, 25% if you cancel before it's shipped! They did end up working with me when I ordered the wrong thing because I canceled within only a few days of ordering so I decided to give them a good rating.

And I LOVE the product!

DO Not Do Business With This Company

"This company has terrible customer service and return policies. They sent me the wrong size ropes for my porch swing. I ordered and paid for the correct ones. I emailed them as to how I return the first order to get a refund. They do not except phone calls so everything has to be done by email. They responded with they will not refund and sorry they cant help. There are many other companies that offer similar products. Please do yourself a favor and order from a reputable company that excepts phone calls, has a return policy and better pricing. I'm sure you can see that they have very unfavorable reviews and a 1.77 overall score. Enough said."

Great swing

"I ordered a 5 food hanging swing with cup holders. It said some assembly required. I thouvht I was going to have to screw all the slats etc. Didnt have to. Very minimal assembly and very clear instructions. Easy peasy
Very solid construction. Had all parts. Arrived in time as described. The only thing I will probably do is add a smooth sealant but maybe not.

The swing and accessories were good quality, but that's where it ends

"Buying the swing was easy. They have someone to answer the phone. However, customer service is email only. They absolutely do respond within 24 hours but an easy 10 minute conversation takes 3 days due to the 24 hours they have to respond. First FedEx lost part of the delivery. The first half arrived on a Saturday as FedEx tracking reported. However, only half the shipment arrived so we called and FedEx said the other half would be Sunday by 8pm. The arrival time came and went, no package. We emailed Porch Swing because we knew from experience once FedEx loses a package it is gone and they needed to ship another package. Porch Swing Co spent 3 days defending FedEx and blaming Covid etc and then finally on a Wednesday when they admitted the package was lost Porch Swing said FedEx has 72 hours to find the package. So a week goes by when if they had listened to us on Monday we could have saved 3 days. Luckily the actual manufacturer of the swing sent the missing pieces on their own so we had them by Friday, but Porch Swing Co. said we would get them by Tuesday. Lucky we went around them. Next, when the second half of the package did arrive they sent green hangers. We emailed and wasted another day and customer service said the standard hanger is green. Odd, We bought a black swing, black ropes, black and white pillows so why would we want green hangers. On the accessories tab it showed they had black hangers. Apparently if you clicked the green hangers it is listed standard, yet there is no where on the ordering process to choose black. We would have had to know in advance to write special instructions? Do they think we're psychic? To make it worse they have a 20% restocking fee even if it is their fault. To pour salt on the wound when I got my refund it was more than a 20% charge and they said it was for shipping the hanger back to manufacturer. So I paid about $69.98 for 4 hangers and got back $51 for their mistake and poor communication. I want to mention they gave us a 10% discount on a swing cover, (to say they are sorry for the delivery confusion) but it was $260 and they are the only ones to sell it so of course the price is crazy expensive for a cover that is similar to a BBQ grill cover We love the swing and pillows but I would never order from them again and recommend any new customers try to find your swing from a company that will answer a phone and treat you with appreciation versus the Porch Swing Company."

Junk for Sale

"This is without a doubt the worsts purchase we have ever made. My wife ordered a 7' swing for the front porch of our home and right out of the box it was broken. I tried to call customer service but without luck because the don't have any. Through a series of emails including picture with circles and arrows they finally sent us the part to take it apart and replace the broken part.
So the swing was hung and the 1st time 2 people sat on it it broke. I think they make out of Balsa wood w/ knot's in it to save shipping costs. One note to be made is this swing needs assembly and tools to put together.
So through another series of emails I explained that the swing was an engineer's nightmare from both materials and design and we wanted to return it ASAP. They sent me a label right after the UPS driver showed up asking for the package that we were unaware what he was picking up. We received no packaging, just a packing slip. So through another series of emails and 3 1/2 weeks later and the hassle of disassembling the dam thing and using an assortment of small boxes the sent and a role of packing tape the box is currently sitting on our porch due for pickup today !!! Thank you Jesus !!! DON'T BUY A swing from The Porch Swing Company if you want to sit and relax. But if you want the frustrating experience like mine good luck. They will probably send you the same swing I sent back.

Very happy with the company and the product

"We ordered a five foot glider from the porch swing company. It arrived on July 13, 2020, and upon opening the box it came in we noticed that one of the slats had broken during shipment. I called the company the same day and left a voicemail regarding the problem. The next day I received a call from customer support telling me that they would ship out a new slat. It arrived on July 20 2020, and was stained to match exactly the rest of the glider and was pre-drilled with screw holes. They also included an additional torx drill head for inserting the screws. We are extremely pleased with the product and with the prompt service we received from the company. The only suggestion I have for the company is that they pack the included hardware more securely. Though ours included all the hardware, the bag holding them had broken open during transit and they were scattered throughout the box. All in all though, a great purchase. "

Very happy with our order

"We ordered 2 Centerville Amish rockers and 1 Centerville Amish double rocker in the Mission style, stained white. We are incredibly impressed with the quality and sturdiness of these rockers. The craftsmanship is stunning and assembly was a breeze. I found their customer service department to be highly responsive. Shipping was about what we expected for a handcrafted made-to-order product, right about 3 weeks. Well worth the wait. I will order from them again, and especially this particular line of furniture. "

Scam!

"The whole thing is a scam. I ordered a daybed and 30 minutes later realized I ordered wrong size. Tried to contact customer service to change. Impossible to reach. Ended up having to cancel the order to get the right one. They charged me a 5% cancellation fee. Ridiculous. Needless to say I did not even order again, I will take my business elsewhere. Based on other reviews I think I got off easy with a $40 loss. Do not purchase here. "
