"I bought a Transformers hat for my boyfriends birthday in mid January. (around the 18th). The fact that I ordered the item wasn't even acknowledged by the company until the 24th of January. Then It was shipped 2 days later on the 26th, which you might be like oh well at least they shipped quickly, but you would be very wrong because this is still a problem, as the 26th is a Saturday. A day in which they specifically state on their website isn't a valid working day for any sort of shipping. So why does it say it shipped on a day that doesn't count towards their "3 to 10 day" shipping waiting time. I don't know but it's starting to look like this company isn't a real company and is just out to scam people.

The Frustration doesn't end there, I contacted them and they said "hopefully the item will arrive any day" I don't know about you but that sounds to me like they don't know what their doing, especially after bringing up a lot more points of concern than just 'my stuff isn't here yet'

Then I waited a few days thinking maybe its a legitimate hiccup in the postal system. Well it's still not here, And now I look at my account and I have a $2 credit on my account on the site... Which in my experience only means that they over charged me in the first place. (at the very least they gave it back I guess, except that its in store credit and that I will never ever use their website again.)

To really add on to all of this RIDICULOUSNESS I wrote them again but this time a lengthy negative review (very similar to this one) and then their site just automatically rejected my review saying "Your message contains words or phrases that spammers typically use." If this doesn't tell you how bad this site is I don't know what will.

THIS IS IMPORTANT TO NOTE:

My EXTREMELY negative review contained "words and phrases" that this company has received MANY, MANY, MANY, MANY times. So many times, they even put a filter on their site.

"I'd ordered a hoody and received a notice that Catacombs had received the order - a few days later I tried tracking but couldn't get past the email/password section, so emailed - customer service "Mark" replied with a gentle hint that possibly putting in the "t" of my email address would have worked and then provided all necessary info. that the hoody would be delivered that day. His response was polite, pleasant and complete and the merchandise is excellent quality! I'll certainly use catacombs again."

"Whoever "Adam" is on your customer service staff deserves the highest award you guys have. After I didnt receive my order for 2-3 months, I was furious with your business (literally). Naturally, I voiced my anger on a customer ticket asking where the F@#! was my stuff that i paid for...adam responded respectfully and very professionally. He assured me that your business would RE-ship out my order to no additional cost to me....I wanted to still be mad, but i couldnt help feeling over-joyed with your excellent customer service. Long story short, after Adam and I hammered out the details, my order arrived. He, single-handedly, saved my business and future business with your online store (which I intended to purchase much more from your site before this mix up) Promoted, award, or whatever you need to do with this guy...cuz he's one of the best customer service reps i've ever come across."

"AVOID!!!

We never received the merchandise we ordered. The catacombs refuses to refund our money. The catacombs is a scam. DO NOT order from this company. You pay for your order, but you won't get anything.

"In the beginning of Dec I ordered two hoodies and a patch, one of the hoodies were out of stock so they emailed me offering to send part of my order free of cost cause there would be a delay with the other (this was very cool) so they did and it was sent surface (their free option) so needless to say it took about 2-3 weeks to get (i read their site after i got their order but i did email them askin whats up part way into the order, they were very polite and helpful with any questions i had). a word to the wise: if you are from the usa you should get your self shipping. (theyre in canada) they have extremely cheap shipping rates, and the speed that it comes once u pay for the shipping is surprising! anyways for the hoodie that was outta stock i paid the shipping fee and i got it about a week and a half later (during the freaking christmas rush mind you!) this was totally impressive. very reliable company"
