"I have also ordered a dress through Talk About Prom on 4-22-12.I have not recieved anything from them and it has already been 3 weeks. No confirmation email, invoice, or estimated shipping date. My order number is 2776. Her prom is June 15th and now we are panicing. I thought 7-8 weeks would be plenty of time. I should of went through the place I went through last year. I have sent emails throuh their contact site, I have called and left messages and no response!!!!! I will have to contact Paypal, but where do find a dress and the money on short notice. Thanks to them we are behind!!!I just want the dress, on time!!Did anyone ever get their dress?"
"I accidently bought two of the same dresses that were in stock... I have asked to cancel an order on one. I still haven't recieved any answer from talkaboutprom and am very stressed! Now I want to cancel the both because I've just found out they don't have the dress I wanted in stock and I can't have it by the end of May I need my dress by May 12th 2012 and it doesn't seem like that will be possible. I am very dissatisfied with the customer service... and I know I have the right to cancel my orders because it has not been 5 business days yet.

"DO NOT ORDER FROM THIS COMPANY!!! My daughter and I were looking for a affordable alertnative to expensive prom dresses. We were happy to find this website and ordered a dress but it was not in stock. I then ordered a slightly more expensive dress. I was shocked when it arrived. It was wadded up inside out in a standard shipping ENVELOPE. The dress was a wrinkled mess and there was a snag in the chiffon. Because it had been wadded up inside out, the bodice was misshapen. We ordered a size 6 and a size 8 was sent. I sent an email asking for return information. Three weeks later, I have STILL not received return information but rather 3 emails asking for pictures of the dress showing the problems. I responded each time sending the same 6 pictures. I have STILL not received return information. I have had to purchase another dress for my daughter as her prom is in one week. We had to purchase a dress at the last minute. If I could give this company NO stars I would. Take my advice and shop somewhere else."
"My daughter and I got VERY scared after we had ordered a dress from this website. We had looked all over for a perfect dress and found nothing until we visited this website. We were excited till we read these reviews...then scared! We got the dress today and it is PERFECT! If someone else is reading some of these reviews, keep a couple things in mind....don't order a dress on short notice and don' t let the bad reviews on here panic you......some people complain about things that are their own fault and sometimes bad things do happen...to everyone. We will DEFINATELY order again and again."
"We ordered a prom dress from here and everything was going good and then they recieved payment and we can not get a response on our dress status I have emailed, called (there phone goes straight to a voicemail), and I have tried the online chat but have not recieved any response to any of them. I guess we will be getting a refund and telling everyone to stay away from talkaboutprom.com. I think it's a scam site."
"Ordered a prom dress for my daughter, they replied right away and said it wouldn't be ready in time. I requested a refund and they replied that they had already put it through. I ordered in May, had to file a dispute with paypal because I didn't receive the refund. Paypal resolved the issue and refunded this past week. I never heard from talkaboutprom after the first correspondence. Same thing happened to my neighbor but she didn't know enough to file a dispute with paypal. She has repeatly asked talkaboutprom for a refund and they have not responded.
Per talkaboutprom's response: my order number is 832, ordered on 5/6/11 and I have put my neighbor's transaction number in the space provided. "
"LEAVE PLENTY of TIME....our dress arrived and was actually very pretty and seemed nicely made. but it needed tailoring (no big deal).. and then we discovered that when you put it on, the design was flawed. One side had no strap and no way to stay up! I called, emailed, sent pics and they promised to send a sash of beaded material in order to help fix the dress but it arrived later than promised. They did apologize and sent a partial credit but you just need to be aware it is long distance-- phone is better than email in my experience"
"COMPLETE AND TOTAL SCAM...DON'T WASTE YOUR TIME...I bought two dresses for my two girls March 16, Prom is May 14, still nothing. First dress they said is lost, but they won't give tracking number. Second dress they say shipped , but again they refuse to give tracking number. Don't be tricked to think they're in New York, which is their phone number, it is a VOIP system with terrible sound. They're in CHINA!!! They barely speak English...they NEVER answer Emails, and NEVER answer IM Chat...WASTE OF TIME..If you don't believe me try calling them, and see what you get
June 10, I see TALKABOUTPROM finally responded....nearly a month later....that should tell you all you need to know about their customer "dis" service!!!"
"Talk about prom is a scam. I ordered a dress for my daughter at the end of March 2011 for a 30 April Prom and it still has not showed as of 8 May 2011. My daughter and I continued to exchange email with them and they led us to believe it would be here on time. I have asked for a refund but they act as if nothing is wrong. I would not order from them!"
