"I tried to contact this vendor about an item on eBay (a range hood). I had questions about it. I tried twice, and got no reply. I then called. The voicemail box was full, so it was not possible to leave a message. This company does not seem to really exist anymore."

"I won an auction for a contemporary two pc. toilet from this vendor on 1/29/08 and paid via Paypal on 1/30/08. On the auction listing it specifies that payment is expected within 2 days and that the item is in stock and will ship within 3-4 business days. On 2/12 I sent them a msg through Ebay asking when they would ship the toilet. They replied on 2/13 that they would be in on 2/19 or 20 and they will send me tracking when they ship the next day. I wrote them AGAIN on 2/25 and reminded them of what they said. They responded with a tracking number, saying that they'd moved and forgot to send it when the toilet shipped on 2/21. I went to track the package on UPS' site and it showed (even today!) billing information received on 2/21... nothing else. No movement. Surely it should have been here by now? I wrote them again and asked WHEN is the toilet going to be brought to or picked up by UPS for shipping to me? They responded that it'll show up in their system "soon". I asked them what this means... no reply - until I opened a dispute on 3/2 with Paypal, to protect myself in case I need to file a claim. He responded with the same tracking number and asked that I close the dispute as soon as possible; I responded that I will NOT until I see movement of my toilet to my house. As I wrote this, I decided to ask for a full refund so that I can take my business elsewhere. We'll see how he responds...

Update: Rec'd an email and a response to the dispute showing that the package has indeed been dropped off at UPS for shipping, scheduled to arrive 3/11.

I'm still not closing my dispute until I am satisfied that I got what I ordered and that it's new (which I believe it is after this long wait) as stated.

Update: I received my toilet today via UPS Ground. It was supposed to be a two piece toilet, which I deliberately ordered. The one I received was a one piece - and broken. After the 6 week wait I would have accepted the one piece toilet had it not been broken. It took me 40 mins. to pull the foam from the box (it appeared to be well packed...) I sent the seller 4 pics, including pics of the outer box, which didn't show any obvious damage. We'll see if he steps up to the plate at all, though something tells me I'll have to file a Paypal claim. Maybe they'll surprise me...

3/14/08 They gave me a total refund; I am now happy. I asked them if they were going to send a call tag to pick up their toilet, they told me to call their claims dept. for resolution. After having to explain it to them a couple of times the guy I spoke to told me to keep it. (I thought maybe they'd want to send it back to the manufacturer.) He says no, that it's just the cost of doing business. I wouldn't order from them again because I feel I dodged a bullet. However, I wouldn't badmouth them, as they did resolve the situation to my total satisfaction. For that I give them kudos.
