"I have placed two whole-house door orders through the company's website: Allegheny Wood Works. Each time they met their schedule and the doors were top quality and very fairly priced. The original order was 10 unfinished quarter sawn white oak, Mission style, pre-hung - 14 years later they are all still perfect. Our 2017 order was 18 solid cherry doors, raised panel, pre-finished in clear coat, and pre-hung. I had gotten a bid from a large company in Seattle specializing in doors of all kinds and used by contractors all over the area. Solid's price was slightly more than 50% including shipping. The doors are gorgeous, and a great value - not yet hung, but they are much nicer than doors I've ordered from the local door dealer. Very minimal amount of sap wood, which they had lead me to expect and it typical of cherry - custom built doors locally would have eliminated that issue, but at substantially greater cost.
