"I bought a new Frigidaire Gas Range directly from Sears in April 2017. From the 1st day we got it, it would not maintain the preset temp in the oven. The temp would wander 50-75 degrees up or down from the set temp. Of course you can't cook anything working like this without either taking forever or burning it. We contacted Sears Repair several times, the guy comes out and either says thats how its supposed to be or does a calibration that of course doesn't work. Finally after almost 2 years of putting up with it a tech says they are going to replace the temp probe & electronic circuit board as these regulate the temp. They did that and still the same issue. We call them again and the day before they came out it shot up to well over 600 degrees and caught the pizza inside on fire. They came and replaced the circuit board and still the same issue. I called service again to say I want a new stove. Even after learning it caught fire, they still said they need to replace the same board 2 more times before I qualify for a replacement stove. Their police is the same issue must have a tech actually replace parts 4 separate times in 12 months. All the service calls where they didn't replace a part don't count. I'm done with Sears, their uncaring about their customers safety and their policies. I will not keep a stove in my house that catches on fire at the very least, and not putting up with their policies that make no sense and they are obviously fine with it continuing to catch fire while they replace the same circuit board 2 more times. I am going to buy a GE Gas Range."
