"RIPPED ME OFF! Seller took my payment with paypal and is on the run! Didn't ship my item, doesn't answer phone or email, and MYDIGITALGEAR ebay account has been SUSPENDED!! Don't deal with this store EVER. Has been reported to the FBI, ebay, paypal and other various agencies for fraud!"

"Long story short: this place is full of crooks so you DO NOT want to buy anything from them. I talked to the owner - Mr. Stevens, he first said they didn't have it in stock then after I showed a lot of interest he said they got one on special order (that was the 1st bad sign but I chose to ignore it, stupid me).

"misleading ad about free shipping, this ad is on ebay but you don't get free shipping if you buy on ebay.
sent them an email asking for total price including the shipping, they emailed back a price of $3219.88, I made a paypal payment for this amount.
I received an email from them asking me to call to confirm my order. They told me I owed another $60 for ground shipping, this would have been $99.99 for UPS ground, ridiculous. I told them they sent me an email with a TOTAL price of $3219.88 and that was all I was willing to pay. They said OK but it would take 25 days to receive item.
I called back on 2/12/04 to confirm order again and asked to be transferred to shipping dept. as I had gotten a client who wanted to shoot on Sunday. I asked about shipping overnite options to get camera on 2/13/04. They quoted me $153.00 for overnite, I agreed and paid additional shipping by credit card. Morning of 2/13/04 I checked my email and found their confirmation of shipping, it was sent GROUND instead of overnite and was due to be deliverede 2/18/04. I called and they acknowledged they had made a shipping error. They said they would check to see if they could ship another unit overnite for Saturday delivery and then I would refuse the original delivery on 2/18/04. I explained my predicament and they seemed understanding and said they would call me back in 20 minutes to let me know, they never called back. I called them again 2 hours later, they again said they were checking and PROMISED to call back in 20 minutes. I never heard from them again and now they are closed for the weekend. I will miss my shoot on Sunday and may lose a multi-year contract with my client.
Complete Non Professionals and I would spend my money elsewhere.

"I bought Fuji S2 Pro digital camera from this store. The price sounded good. I was offered an extended Mack's warranty and thought it was a good idea. The price for that warranty they qouted was $277.82.

Few days later I found that they were selling it about $180 higher than everage $99 price.

Shipping was outrageous $121.80. Service was below average. I will never ever order from them again.

"when i ordered this item i thought i was getting a good deal because it said NO TAX but when i called to find the status of my order and where it was being shipped from i was told that it was being shipped from their new york office and i would be charged TAX since i live in new york. i dont know about you guys but i find this very disceptive and will not order anything from a store that does not correctly list the shipping and taxes on their web orders (i dont like finding out later that i was charged more because the company cant build a good precise web order site). i cancelled my order and decided to buy from another store that is more truthful about their final price.

"Web site had cryptic "in-stock" details, so I called to confirm. The non-international version of the camera was, according to the sales rep, actually an "export" version with Chinese menus. The US version was $70 more (the same price as the mainstream "old-standard" on-line camera dealers). When I said no thanks, the salesperson said "Really? But it's only the menus...."

Misleading website with little if any gray market disclosure, and absolutely absurd shipping rates.

Pass on this dealer and save yourself some time and grief.

"Their shipping price ($29 for Canon G2) wasn't consistent with dealtime's quote ($22) which raised some red flags, but I went ahead with it after an exhaustive search for the lowest price and many phone calls to shady NY camera shops. Although they are a new online store, I decided to give them a try after reading their commitment to customer service. I decided to place an order with them because they had the lowest price for the canon G2 (USA model), even though I had to pay $7 more for shipping. Ordering the product on their website was very easy and when I called they said that they had it "IN STOCK". Hours later, they called me at work to "verify" my order; with a HARD SELL on the accessories. I kindly turned them down.

10 days later (8 Bus. Days) I the order was still processing. I called them to figure out what happened, and they said "We tried calling your house to verify your order". They already called me at work to verify my order, why do they want to call me at my house? Maybe to try to sell me more accessories. At this point, I asked what is the status of my order, and they said that they are "back logged". ??? But when I first order it, they had it "in stock"... Strange. I cancelled my order and went with a more reputable place.
