"I bought 5 Hitachi 3TB “certified refurbished” drives from them (these are mostly decommissioned server drives that have been scanned and wiped) two years ago and they have been perfectly content humming along 24/7 the last two years in a less than ideal enclosure. I bought a white label 300gb 10k rpm drive (essentially a Western Digital Velociraptor) from their eBay store as a boot drive for a computer I built for a relatively non essential temporary archiving job I was doing. When it threw some errors I contacted them and they immediately refunded my money no questions asked. Since the computer is non essential I low level formatted it and it has been running for nearly 2 years without additional errors. Recently they got more of the Hitachi 3TBs. Their website has been updated and the checkout wouldn’t work. They quickly responded and sent me an invoice for three drives like I requested. They ship quickly. Know what you are buying and they do have good deals. Don’t forget those enterprise drives they sell are designed to have long lifespans. Some of the smaller capacity hard drives they sell haven’t been made in several years that’s why they are several years old even if they’re “new”. They aren’t the place for data recovery, buy a 3rd party data recovery warranty if you’re worried. Every experience I’ve had with them however has been excellent and their customer service is fast and friendly."
