"I ordered the enclosure kit for the harddrive on Jan 15th, 2010. I also left a voicemail to this company a week ago. So far, I have not received a return phone call from the company yet. The funding had been paid thru Palpal acct. Also I could not able to email to ****@**** since this email is not a valid email acct. I would not recommend anyone to purchase any product from this company since no one is contacting or returning or provided a status. Very disappointed :("

"Use this vendor at your own peril! I purchased a Metal Gear Box external dual bay hard drive enclosure. egoodz claims a 1 year warranty. It stopped working after 9 months. I checked the documentation for manufacturer warranty info and found no references for warranty or manufacturer contact info. Several emails to egoodz concerning their warranty statement have received no reply. It appears egoodz falsely stated a warranty and/or they offer no support. I would not believe the information they post and based on my experience (and other comments), they should be avoided."

"I ordered 5 items from egoodz: a computer case and 4 smaller computer components. The webpage showed that the shipment went out in two separate boxes. The first box was the computer case, and the second box contained only one of the 4 remaining items. I called them the next day (Friday) and was told they would look into it, but didn't hear back. When I called again on Monday afternoon, I was told that they had shipped out the remaining two items (even though I had not received 3 items). Fortunately, when I received the package on Thursday, it did contain all the missing items."

"I bought an external HD from this company a year ago. Although it arrived in a timely manner it did not work. I sent it back, they returned the same one to me that still did not work. I sent it back and they sent me another one, which again did not work. So I have already paid an extra $20 or so to ship this faulty thing back numerous times and I still don't have a back up. So I decide enough, just return it and get a refund. I sent it back to them and am still waiting for any communication.

I would not deal with this company again and advice others to avoid them.

"Do not buy from this company. They are a terrible, broken-down 2-bit operation, have absolutely no resources or oversight. Their disorganization is awe-inspiring. I ordered a product, and the final invoice had an overcharge for shipping. I tried for DAYS to contact the customer service number - the phone was either busy, rang and rang with no answer, or cut off my call after a few rings. Their website states explicitly not to notify them of problems via email, but I did anyway. I told them that they overcharged me by about $20.00 and I wanted it fixed or I would cancel the charge with my credit card company. Eventually I got in touch with the phone number that day, and they fixed the charge, changing the difference and sent an email to verify the new invoice. OK fine, so I emailed the people letting them know it was taken care of. An hour later I received word that the order was canceled altogether. I thought, probably a blessing - and ordered from a different company. Then I found they charged me (the original overcharged amount) and 2 emails and 2 phone calls later, I still haven't been reimbursed. They're simply a terrible company and you can't trust them to manage your order competently. "

"This company baits and switches, has poor customer service and does not ship on time unless prompted by a phone call. They do answer the phone from time to time and are very polite. They have still not credited my account for monies charged for an order upgrade that did not get processed successfully. I kept what they sent in order to avoid calling them for the 13th time... I will not order from them again. I suggest that you don't either."

"ordering from egoodz.com was the worst experence iv ever had. I placed a order on july 2nd for a compact flash card a week pasted i called them up asking them why it hasent been shipped they told me its because they dont have any. Frist of all they shouldnt charge my card if they are selling something they dont have. They told me i would get a refund i called on the 15th And they want to give me something else i said NO! i just want a refund. He said ok ill process your refund tomarrow. I said why cant you just process it now. He said he couldnt. BEWARE OF THIS COMPANY THEY LIKE TO HOLD ON YOUR MONEY FOR SOME STUPID REASON! Tomarrow im just going to goto the bank and dispute the charge im not dealing with this company anymore!"

"I tried to order a CPU from this company on 5-11-08. By 5-16-08 my order had still not been processed. I called to find out why, and was told their was a problem billing my prepaid credit card. I told them that their charge had been "Pending" from the time the order was placed and shouldn't have been a issue. I was assured that they get in touch with their "billing" company, get it straighted out, and send the CPU out as soon as they did.

I checked back with them an hour before they closed and was informed that they had charged my card a second time, and it had been declined. Well, I'm glad I didn't have enough money on the card to cover their "Pending" and their newer charge. I was then told to get in contact with my card company to get the problem cleared up! Shouldn't it be up to them to correct a problem they created?

I cancelled the order after discovering this. They acknowledged the cancellation. Guess what! Here it is the 19th and I still have the $173.29 "Pending" charge that I can't use until I get it cleared up. It might take weeks! It has to be done by "snail mail" from my end.

Bottom Line:
Steer clear of egoodz.com!!!

"Excellent service. I ordered a Hitachi Travelstar notebook hard drive for roughly 22% less than the closest competition, shipping included. They only charged $7.05 for shipping/packaging, which was quite reasonable, and the drive arrived in 4 business days. The drive was shrinkwrapped. First thing I did was get on the Hitachi website - the drive comes up with the 3 year warranty as advertised. Second thing I did was install it in my laptop, then boot up using Ultimate Boot CD, & run the drive through a fitness test. It passed with flying colors. I see no reason to pay $15 - $25 more for the same product elsewhere. I am very, very happy with the service from Egoodz, and would recommend them to anyone. "

"Ordered a new drive/enclosure and received a refurbished drive in a defective enclosure with a broken switch. A search reveals that many others have had this happen, so it's definitely not an honest mistake. It's almost impossible to get them on the phone and when (or if) you do reach them they just want to argue with you. Avoid this POS company like the plague."

"Received the HDDVD/Blu-Ray drive and it plays both formats and arrived on time (no issues there). However the included software did not have a serial number. When I tried to contact eGoodz.com no one answered the phone and the voice mailboxes were full. As a result I will have to contact the drive maker to see if I can get a copy of the special version of Power DVD."

"DO NOT EVER BUY ANYTHING FROM EGOODZ.COM
I purchased a hitachi hard drive and enclosure from them. First they sent me a hard drive which was not working.
Returning it was a pain in the neck, as they had to fax the RMA form and I had to fax it back. It took them one month to resend me the item. What I received was a WD hard drive and not the hitachi I had purchased. When I wanted it replaced, they wanted me to pay the shipping both ways.
This is a terrible store. I would never ever buy anything from them. Beware!

"while shipping was prompt only one out of 3 items was included. After a number of calls and e-mails got nowhere and still missing the two cables I have ordered. Spoke to a sales person once who claimed that the issue will be resolved quickly but 2 month later I have recieved no reply or missing item."
