"This business was/is operated by an Indian guy named Mukul Jain, he was based in Singapore, and often used fake addresses in Australia. I lost around USD 130 + speed post shipping cost, so I hope he suffers the same way as he made others do. "

"My experience is the same as many others my order, though reported in stock is still pending 17 days after purchase and all attempts to contact them have failed. This is the first time I have been 'done' by a company and I wish there was some way of closing them down or stopping them using services like worldpay. "

"Do not use e-Xcessories!

I ordered a Kodak Easyshare V610 Digital Camera from them in November 2007, because they were the only shop with it in stock, or so they claimed.
Despite having the PayPal logo on their home page, they made me pay with WorldPay, who I have never used before.
When I placed my order I was told I would receive the camera in 2-5 days, but nearly two weeks later there was nothing, so I logged on to the website. My order was listed as 'pending', just as it had been the day I ordered it, so I phoned them on two different numbers - one wasn't a real number and the other was never picked up. There online chat was never online, and they never replied to my emails. I got the impression that this is some phoney business run in Taiwan by some old bloke who has just gone and fled the country, leaving the website to run itself down.

I visited sites such as this one, and it seems loads of people have had the same sort of experience as me. I contacted WorldPay to try and cancel my order, but it turned out that my order hadn’t even reached them, so at least I won’t have to pay for something I will certainly never receive.

As I write this review it is Christmas Eve 2007. I wanted to buy the camera as a Christmas present, and luckily for me I found one on eBay a couple of weeks later. I received that within a few days, and I was so relieved that it turned out OK. I have just logged on again to e-Xcessories to check my order and guess what? Still pending!

So definitely, never ever use e-Xcessories!

"Plain and simple DO NOT BUY FROM THESES GUYS THEY
*UCK. I ordered on Aug 27 the 28th it was in warehouse shipping by Sep 12 still nothing so I protested to PayPal. On the 17 theyy Finally say my order was despatched a week later still no memory cards Not email repies to my email, no reply to paypal, no phone response and no 24/7 internet chat. Need I say more?

"BG: I ordered a Nikon D80 + two memory cards.
I opted for fast delivery; total cost: £680.

After reading reviews here (and after I'd already ordered) I tried to get in touch to reassure myself. Their London number forwards to somewhere in the East where it gets to an answer phone. They didn't return calls and only replied to email when I threatened to withdraw my order.
Their online support (skype etc) has never been online whenever I have checked it- day or night over several weeks.
=> Customer service: terrible

First I got an envelope containing ONE memory card. No sign of the other yet. (After ~10 days)
Camera came later: They did use priority delivery (as requested) but item wasn't despatched for 10 days, so took a long time to get to me (13 days)
=> Despatch/Delivery: VERY slow for 'priority' delivery. Only one card. Camera was well packed though.

Camera WASN'T as requested: the site advertised kit with 18-70mm lens- they sent me kit with (inferior and cheaper) 18-135 lens. Have contacted them but as yet no reply.

I am expecting a tax bill in time too, though I've not received it yet.

The email address they registered with Paypal for payment is dead (returns 'no mailbox at this address').

Experience has put me off buying from ANY internet supplier other than Amazon EVER.
Peace of mind is cheap at £50- buy cameras from a high street store!

Overall experience: utterly dire.

"DO NOT BUY FROM THESE PEOPLE UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES! I ordered a lens clearly pictured and described on their website - and they sent an older (cheaper) version - and refused to admit that the lens they sent and the one advertised were different! They are NOT in the UK but in Singapore - they take 10 days + to deliver which is NOT what they advise you and the cistomer 'service' just does not exist. This was a VERY bad buying experience!

NOT ONLY...but also - the website says~ 'inclusive VAT' and today I get a VAT bill from FEDEX - I can't get anyone at e-xcess - to answer emails - PLEASE AVIOD LIKE THE PLAGUE! tHEY ARE THE MOST DISHONEST COMPANY I HAVE EVER DONE BUSINESS WITH ON THE INTERNET!

"avoid this company like the plague, i ordered an item and on delivery received a vat invoice from fedex, their website advertises the fact this will be refunded on receipt, despite numerous emails and phone calls i am still waiting 3 months later, the customer service dept assure me the refund is on the way!! but i am still waiting, they have no uk address to write to which i find very strange"

"I to bought a camera which arrived from Hong Kong and then I got a VAT invoice from DHL.I sent them a copy and they said they woud refund the VAT but I have not seen anything.I suspect that they have reclaimed the VAT so is this a fraudulent act?"

"I placed an order for a camera lens. It arrived promptly (from Hong Kong) and I am pleased with it. As I'm in the EU I recieved a VAT bill from Fedex, which according to e-xcesssories t&c they will sort out. I sent this to e-xcessories.com via email - no reply. I am sent an outstanding account note from Fedex later. I contact e-xcessories by phone and email. My emails are deleted without being read!!! Prices are good, customer service non-existant, I willn not order from this company again."

"Not at all impressed. I placed an order for an HP OfficeJet 7410 printer and in the acknowledgement was told that delivery would be in 4 days or so. When I hadn't heard anything more after this time I checked the order status on their web site only to see a message saying that the item wasn't in stock and the order had been cancelled. However, the item was still listed as in stock, just as it had been when I placed the order, so obviously the stock indicators are fantasy! I was also annoyed that nobody informed me of the problem by phone or email, instead leaving me to chase the status myself. I won't be shopping from this company again.

[Later update] Having queried this with the company, I have now been told that: "our UK warehouse is not able to store the printers and hence all printers are only for the US market. We shall be having them soon down the line."

There was never any clear indication on the web site that e-Xcessories is anything other than a UK-based company - the front page of their web site has several prominent references to a "UK Sales Hotline" - and there is certainly no suggestion anywhere that they can only supply part of their catalogue range to the UK market. I'm not impressed with this at all.

"Great Price but poor customer service. I did not receive an update on my order for over a week so I emailed their customer support. After 3 days of no response I tried their live online chat. The representative typed in severly broken English and after providing him with my transaction ID, item ID, and order # (the only numbers I was provided) he was unable to help me, stating that I was not giving him the number he needed and he could not help me. It took my order 3 weeks to arrive. I am very happy with my memory card but very dissatisfied with the customer service provided."
