Terrible service, no return policy

"They will charge you expensive shipping and if you need to return the item, they don't have any return policy in place and will ask you to pay for return shipping as well.
Don't use them.

"Deal express is the worst, if I could give it 0 stars I would. It is far from a deal and anything but express. It took me over 2 months to get an item I overpaid for (after researching online I saw I could have gotten it much cheaper from basically anywhere else online)"

"Anyone who was ripped off by DealExpress and its owner, Chris Myers should Google the terms "Chris Myers Counterfeit Computer Hardware FBI" You will find how Mr. Myers and a co-conspirator were charged in December of 2009 with counterfeiting Cisco hardware. He faces up to 5 years in federal prison. I hope he is convicted and serves every day of the 5-year sentence. In my one dealing with Mr. Myers he demonstrated brazen obnoxiousness. With a little luck he will open his mouth to the sentencing judge and receive an extra year behind bars just for being a creep."

"Wow! I'm glad everyone else feels the same way I do about DealExpress. I purchased an HP monitor (HPL1706) from them through eBay and I am completely appalled at what transpired. It took over two weeks to get the payment information correct(after calling them incessantly to provide the right information; they do not answer their phones during business hours or return voicemail and email), and when I finally received the monitor three weeks later, it wouldn't even turn on! I immediately called them to resolve the issue, and they told me it was out of their hands and gave me a number for HP. WHAT? So, I just paid $170 for a defective monitor and another of two hours of my time to deal with HP?!? I quickly told them this is NOT how a business works, and they told me I must have missed the fine print. The fine print states that they do not accept returns. Ok, fine. I want an exchange, if we want to have a semantics argument about it. Then, they just became plain rude about the situation and made me feel stupid for even buying from them. So, I'm here to warn anyone that's thinking about doing business with them - DO NOT! They shouldn't even be allowed to be called a business. I'm very disappointed that this happened. It's a shame, but "buyer beware" still applies here. PLEASE! PUT THEM OUT OF BUSINESS! DO NOT BUY FROM THEM! "

"I ordered from the UK a special cable for $10.00 and $11.95 postage. Purchased through ebay and endedup paying through their checkout $68 postage. They would not refund the overpayment on the postage. They have no after sale service or any interest in you the customer. They are the worst I have ever experienced after 5 years + on ebay. I would recommend any person thinking of purcahsing from this company to look elsewhere because if anything goes wrong they will be of no help. Be very carefull with this seller. I will never deal with this seller again."

"Just echoing the other ratings here, I should have checked first. This is possibly the worst company I have dealt with. Got a PCI video card, not what was advertized in a box marked "bad" and the card loose in the box, not even in an anti-static bag. OIf course the card did not work and caused me a huge waste of time and money.

They have no RMA, paypal will not help and all I can say, they're crooks- stay away.

"I purchased an AMD Sempron 2300+ socket A processor. The Item was listed as "used" for 50 dollars. I ended up buying it for 45 dollars plus shipping (52.00 total). When i got the processor, it was in a crushed retail box, opened, the side was all taped up. I found what appeared to be a new cpu. I installed it in a TESTED motherboard. The power supply immediately shut down. I tried a different cpu in the motherboard and that ran fine. Hence, i got a bad cpu. I was very very angry to be decieved into thinking i was getting a used cpu, instead of one that was involved in some sort of damage. I called the next day or the day after and left a message, warning them that I would tell everyone about this if they did not return my call for a resolution in 24 hours. I never heard from them and after reading the other reviews about this company, I see my efforts will do no good in finding a resolution with them. I do not have time for this type of company, so ill eat the 52 bucks and call it part of life....lol

No wonder they dont accept returns of any kind!

Beware of DEALEXPRESS!

"I paid price for new merchandise, Deal express shipped second hand pawed over merchandise with missing pieces. The box had been previously returned and was marked with black marker "missing pieces". Then they wanted me to pay to send their mistake back. Now that the merchandice is returned, they are taking their sweet time to issue a refund to my credit card. The bankcard company does not step in until 30 days have passed. So I have to keep a reminder file on them. THERE IS NO WAY ON GOD'S GREEN EARTH THAT I WOULD EVER BUY FROM THEM AGAIN."

"Horrible experience. I purchased an IBM item advertised on Ebay as "New in Box." When the item arrived it had several labels on it saying "Used". The IBM part number on the item was scratched over with a felt tip pen. I contacted Dealexpress and they agreed to refund my money with my return shipping charges. Later they refused to refund my cost to return the misrepresented item. Company owner Chris Myers left me a message asking that I call to discuss, so I did. He "explained" to me that he shipped me a new item and that I should disregard the "Used" marking. He went on to "explain" that IBM has the items imported with "used" stickers so that customs duties are circumvented. Sure, IBM is going to break the law to avoid paying a few dollars in duty and Chris Myers is privy to this information. I was polite with him but told him that I didn't believe that IBM would do such a thing. He responded "What are you going to do now, make a mean face at me?". I hung up the phone on him. He's obnoxious and seems to enjoy taking advantage of honest buyers. Maybe IBM will shut him down for making slanderous comments."

"Without a doubt, the absolute worst experience I have ever had dealing with a vendor EVER. No matter what price you're getting on whatever item you're buying -- dealing with these individuals is NOT worth it.

Conversations generally escalate to totally unacceptable rudeness on dealexpress's behalf. Simply search on Google for "dealexpress" or look at how they respond to problems in their ebay feedback. INSANE levels of rudeness.

I'll probably be resolving this situation with a chargeback, as I'm not sure I can tolerate speaking to a totally rude prick again on the phone. What an unacceptable, and total waste of time.

Better hope your item from them is perfect (it won't be though -- they're liquidators). Any problems and you'll basically be hung up on. I'd pay money to have never met these people.

"Very bad experience.
I order from dealexpress a Lexmark X75 Multifunction.
I wanted to ship the product internationally. They told me that is possible and is going to cost me $57.35.
They send me an email with a note:”this is your invoice” on 12/8/2004.
On 12/13/2004 I sent them an email asking what is going on with my order and if it was shipped.
They told me, over the phone, that they are not doing international shipping. In the same day I’ve got an email from Chris Myers telling me: “Your order was deleted for no stock.” I called them and I wanted to speak with Chris, and I found out that he is the owner. He told me that he didn't charge my credit card; so why they were suppose to let me know that they don't have the product in stock and that they are going to delete my order??? Just because I am/I was this company customer and they have to keep them inform.

These are the conclusions:

1) Customer service in this company is inexistent.
2) Nobody is keeping the clients posted with what is going on.
3) If you are asking questions over the phone the answer is "I don't know". I had the chance to speak with Chris Myers, the owner, and he told me that he didn't charge my credit card, so why they were suppose to let me know that they don't have the product in stock. Yes, it is true, if you are asking/writing an email they will let you know, if not...
4) Every child knows that in the moment when you are writing an email you sign, or let the customer know your position in the company and why you are writing that email, especially if the matter is about customer service and credit cards.
5) The web site: not listed how you can cancel an order. I think this should be a first question mark??
6) They are advertising international shipping. It is a lie. It doesn't exist.

My advice: stay away from dealexpress!!!
They don't know what they are doing, and they are the worst company.

"Stay away from this merchant. Very bad experience.
After making my payment on their site they sent me an email containing my full credit card number and expiration date, and they wanted me to fax them a copy of the front and back of my credit card. I was extremely upset with how careless they were with my credit card information.
Secondly they fradulently advertised a $100 rebate that was not valid for their website. The rebate was the main reason that I purchased the laptop from them, but when I tried to redeem it I found out that the rebate had been issued to another merchant and was only valid on laptops purchased through them.
When I spoke to Chris at customer service about this, he was extremely rude.
Stay away from dealexpress.com.

"False advertising and negative customer service.

I purchased an HP OfficeJet V40 Fax Scanner Copy Printer C8416A advertised on eBay by these guys as "new." It was anything but. It showed up repackaged in a Compaq box missing the power supply and manuals. I e-mailed them twice about the problem using read receipts but never even got a receipt back, much less an answer. Then I phoned talked to someone named Amy, very nice who said she'd have her supervisor Troy call later that day. Two days later when he hand't called I called him. Troy, very nice, assured me he'd have HP contact me about sending a replacement. Four days later and still no contact. I called and left a message for Troy. No answer. Called the person listed on the shipping label no answer. Sent another e-mail. This time, I got a return receipt that said the mail was deleted without being read!!

"These guys are horrible! They are paranoid liars, and dislike doing business with Mac users in particular. Here's the story...

Won bid on ebay. Waited days for checkout info. Wrote two emails since there was no way to checkout without instructions. After 7 days, left negative feedback as follows "no contact after auction/ignored my emails/could not check out to get item!"

They never contacted me, but posted this reply to my negative feedback "Mac buyer could not figure out our checkout or call us on the phone....???"

Still wanting to get the item, I drilled around their site and found a phone number. I called and was told they had just fired the person in charge of sending out checkout emails, and responding to people who didn't get them.

In spite of knowing they had a problem exactly as I experienced, they refused to sell me the item! They said they do not sell to anyone who leaves negative comments! AND GET THIS! IF SOMEONE LEAVES NEGATIVE FEEDBACK AFTER GETTING AN ITEM, THEY SAID THEY SEND AIRBORNE TO THAT PERSON'S HOME OR BUSINESS TO ATTEMPT TO GET THE PRODUCT BACK...EVEN IF THE BUYER WANTS TO KEEP IT!

As an aside, they said "90% of our problems come from Mac users." which is another lie since their negative feedbacks seem to come across the board.

So after never sending me an email to enable me to checkout...after ignoring the emails I sent them...after I call them and they refuse to sell me the item despite admitting they fired the guy in charge of emailing customers...after all that...these freeking liars leave negative feedback on me as follows "JUST ANOTHER DEADBEAT THAT NEVER PAID."

Unbelievable. STAY AWAY AT ALL COSTS!
