Refund

"I placed an order for a PSN card for my nephew for his birthday present who lives in USA, the amount was taken from my bank account, but I received nothing under the pretext that only people who live in USA who are entitled to place the order.
I tried to contact support on occasions for the refund, but no reaction from them.

They sold me a product they don't have. Can't claim the refund...

"Dear everyone, I warn you against CDKeys. It's a very bad service provider. They sold me a PS4 subscription key which they didn't have... They literally sold me a key they didn't have. I paid for a thin air. Yet I cannot claim a refund as 7 days have passed... It's all in the terms that I agreed on so it's my fault, but the service is the worst possible in my opinion.
I hope that other people do not have to go through the same thing. I worked hard for that money and got treated very poorly. It's ridiculous that you sell things you don't have...

They scammed my 13 year old son

"I bought an expansion key and it did not work. They continued to say it was fine. They refused a refund. You take a big risk here with fake keys and unprofessional illegal scamming. Avoid Avoid Avoid"

Once they have your money, they don't care if you have a problem

"The key CDKeys.com sold us didn't work, and to this day we don’t know the reason.

From the beginning the attitude from CDKeys support staff was pretty much: "We have your money, the code looks fine our end, we don't give a monkeys if you're still having problems or what they might be, go away and don't bother us." And you are literally blocked - CDKeys Support ceased to reply to me, even after having been nothing but courteous and very patient with them from the beginning. I have the emails to prove it.

This situation to me is a bit like buying a car and a few days later having concerns about the tires or finding that the engine won't start, and the only response you get is "Unfortunately, according to us, the car was fine the day we sold it to you, so deal with it and go away."

From looking at other reviews online, if you're lucky and you don't have a problem with the code you get, it looks like you can get some good deals from them. However, if like me you do have a problem, expect support like I've outlined: tough luck if you've paid for something that doesn't work, you're on your own. Because as we’ve experienced, CDKeys does not care what the customer experience actually is. All CDKeys cares about it seems, is that they have your money.

I'm sorry, but to me the heart of this way of doing business is rotten to the core. Handing over cash to CDKeys is clearly a lottery, one that we refuse to partake in, and they will not be getting our business again.

To try and end on a helpful note, here’s what I think good customer service looks like, and I hold CDKeys responsible because I am one of their customers: we have paid them to be able to use a game, and we can’t download it, and they’ve kept our money:

1. Responsibility should not begin and end with the alleged (we only have their word for it) suitability of a cypher that’s been sold. We have paid to be able to use a game, a gift for me, and I can’t download it. The technology you’ve chosen to facilitate that objective along with its validity is neither here nor there, because it doesn’t solve the problem; I still cannot download the game we paid you for.

2. Being helpful instead of dismissive. You’ve taken our money, you claim everything is fine your end, and therefore that’s the end of the story? You stop replying to me? Really? Well everything is not fine: I cannot use the code you sold me for the stated purpose.

3. Go the extra mile. If technical issues might be a cause, I’d expect helpful advice on how to solve them. Not silence. If it looks like a third party might be responsible (like a game site hosting a download and where a key must be redeemed), I’d expect at least some rudimentary knowledge of that third party’s systems, again coupled with expert advice on what to try to solve the problem, or to be directed to the relevant persons, after all you are partnering with them to achieve your sales. I don’t expect silence.

4. Not being left with the feeling that we’ve been robbed. And of a Christmas present no less. I have no problem with CDKeys concluding internally that the problem may lie elsewhere, but I do mind when those actions leave us feeling this way, and that we are well and truly on our own with seemingly no recourse. Is piracy too strong a word? Maybe it is, maybe it isn’t.

5. I don’t think it should be too much to ask any Support department for help in identifying the cause of a problem, but with CDKeys, it seems to be. I have no idea why the code they sold us doesn’t work, and they’ve not helped me at all in trying to find the cause. And as a paying customer, I really feel it should be their responsibility and not ours to get to the bottom of the matter and provide a solution, not slam the door shut and leave us hanging out to dry.

Avoid this company

"Purchased 3 £10 Steam vouchers and when I went to use all had already been redeemed. CD Keys are refusing to do anything. On each email correspondence they asked for information and in the end said nothing they can do. I'd used them in past but never again. Please avoid this company."

The worst

"I've had nothing but issues with this website.
I purchased FIFA points, £71.99 worth. They have not went onto my account, all proof of that has been sent through to them. They do not care a jot.
They also have a "promotion" for Cdkoins that build up like clubcard points. Biggest difference between the two though is you can actually spend your clubcard points.

In summary, they dont give you the productions you buy and when you complain they tell you there is nothing they can do and their promotions are fake.

Stay away at any cost!!

SCAM! DON'T BUY! NO WORKING CODE! NO REFUND!

"Useless support team, bought a xbox ultimate code that don't work, no refund.
I bought an ultimate xbox package for europe which on activation gave the error that it is not for the right region. I opened a ticket for technical support, they asked me for screenshots with proof and after I answered them back with proof ... they didn't reply to any mail for 4 days. After I threatened them that I will report them to paypal if they don't give me my money back or give me another functional code, they immediately replied that they will give me a refund but it takes up to 10 days to check if the code has not been used/activated. It's been 15 days since their last reply, I haven't received any notification or money back.
Avoid this website! They are not serious!

Awful customer service

"Purchased a DLC for a game which was half the price it is on Steam. After payment was completed, trying to claim my key just showed "available shortly" despite the fact it claims "instant download". After waiting a few hours I contacted support, which took over 2 days to reply and was told the product I had purchased was actually out of stock but was marked as in stock due to a technical error. I was offered a refund or to wait for the product to be back in stock, but at the rate of one message back every two days it's painful, and over a week later I still don't have a key. The best bit - the product is still shown as being "in stock" and can be purchased despite the fact they know it isn't."

Awful!

"Awful
Awful, Recently bought a game that wont even launch, waited for 3 patches to give it a fair go at being fixed, then after 2 weeks asked for a refund (steam shows 2 minutes on this game, all failed attempts at trying to launch) to be told, unlucky sucker, no refunds on products not working! and yes, my rig meets all the specs.
Awful company, reply's took days, stay well away.

WARNING!!! CDKeys is selling fake/used keys.

"Terrible experience after purchasing RAGE 2 PC (ASIA) + DLC. Received the wrong key. After using the key on Bethesda.net Launcher an error is received mentioning that the key is invalid. It is clear that they are selling fake/used cdkeys.
Did get in touch with customer service who acknowledged the issue but did not provide any assistance. They mentioned that it would take 10 days to decide whether the case was eligible for a refund. I have not heard from them since. Ticker number that was logged with CDKeys '2974965'

Selling unauthorised codes

"Please be aware THEY ARE NOT LEGIT. I bought Witcher 3 but was CHARGED by CD Keys for a FREE code. They then claimed to me that their keys are from authorised locations but GOG (the platform who run the Witcher games) stated specifically that CD Keys are not authorised to do so.

CD Keys are also removing a vast majority of negative trustpilot reviews (improper use of flagging tools) to sway their rating. They also refuse to verify negative reviews which is clearly a ploy.

Scammers

"£300 worth of orders completed but not received. Have been fighting with customer service for over a month now who declare my case as solved without taking action. They always tell me my orders have been refunded or the transaction never went through in the first place. You can get an accurate CDKeys experience flushing your money down the toilet. Don't waste your time. "
