"Bought their cable tv amp via Walmart. It did arrive in a couple weeks. No instructions at all and no obvious way to connect to power. Their website lists someone else's company, where they are unknown and unreachable. Their website feedback form goes to an error message. You are warned!"
"Just like the everyone else, I got ripped off from CableTVamps. After purchasing a PCT Splitter Signal Booster/Amplifier from CableTVamps via Amazon, I never received my product. I contacted them twice by email (the phone number that is listed on their site is for another company called Always On Security Solutions, Inc in New York) with no response. Finally I filed a claim with Amazon and they never even responded to Amazon. Yes, they are scam artist and thieves. Also FYI, they have another website called BroadbandAmps.com. "
"I have a similar story as the others ripped off by Cabletvamps.com. Unfortunately I did not read these reviews until after I was ripped off by them. I also placed and order on Amazon via CableTVamps.com.
I ordered a channel master amp for my mother’s home which I know is a great product because I have one in my home. Cabletvamps failed to send me the item ordered & failed to respond to my attempts to contact them. My order was placed on January 26th 2015 with a delivery date by Feb 4th. The tracking shows that the item shipped on Feb 10th. The product that arrived was not the channel master product that I ordered and does not work well. They also sent me a note that said they had upgraded my order due to "my item being out of stock and they did not want me to have to wait." This is a total scam. Frustrates me to know end when sellers don't send what is ordered. Stay away from these scam artists.

I placed and order on Amazon via CableTVamps.com for a "PCT MAB 1015 4A". The price was right, but they do not actually carry this item even though months latter they still say they do sell it on Amazon. False advertising! They shipped their version, quickly with a note that said they had upgraded my order due to "my item being out of stock and they did not want me to have to wait." It was not equivalent nor is it as good as the "PCT MAB 1015 4A". I wrote them email messages, but no response. No way to get the money back! No way to contact them.
Do not buy from them! Especially on Amazon where they advertise items they do not carry!"
"AVOID CableTVamps...These guys are theives when it comes to providing their warranty...their product says it carries 10yr warranty...when my product died, it took 5 emails over a week and a half to finally get a RMA response(their phone is only a voicemail and they don't return calls either)...Then they charge $20 to provide the RMA which never happens...After I sent them my defective unit and $20, they never respond back...it's been over 3 weeks and I've emailed them for updates and have received ZERO responses back....AVOID CableTVamps...they are theives..."

They shipped it to me fast.
Installed the product and two months later it stopped working. I went back to my passive 8 way splitter. Last month I decide to take them up on that warranty offer and get it either replaced or repaired.
I called emailed cableTVamps for RMA/Repair. They told me I would have to ship it back at my expense (Thats to be expected) and that I would need to send them $15.00 before they would even look at it. The money is non refundable.
Nowhere on the Amazon product page did it say there would be fees to utilize a warranty.
So basically there is no warranty. Buyer beware.
