I found the English subtitle translation on the 'Jinggang Mountains' film difficult to follow But since I knew roughly the history, having read, years ago many books on the subject such as 'Red Star over China', 'The Great Road' and 'On the Long March With Chairman Mao' (Foreign Languages Press), it was not a great hindrance (It's hardly a fault I could hold blame against c2c-china though)

English subtitle translations on the other two films I bought (Autumn Harvest uprising and Red Womens Detachment) were excellent and clear


I was very happy to watch films I have only been able to view partially and in low compression (poor quality) on you tube
