I have received several BuyDisplay 3.5" TFT screens and shields in both capacitive and resistive models, none of which, even with the help of a university professor who teaches Arduino courses and an electrical engineer who specializes in Arduino programming, have I been able to make do anything except light up.
This is true with half a dozen screens and shields, and across multiple MEGA2560 boards that work with other things, so I don't think it's a hardware problem.
The sample libraries on the BuyDisplay website (to which I have been referred) do not compile, and the BuyDisplay sales manager just tells me to find somebody who knows what he's doing, rather than sending me ONE example of any sketch that actually works.
I've been working with these components, trying to get ONE positive result, for over a year, and their answer is always the same: you're stupid and we can't help you.
Can anyone reading this help? Just one working sketch, and I'd be on the way. Thank you."
