"I sent them 3 flawless Iphones with the agreed price online, They receive and inspected the Iphones then told me all the phones are not properly charging and that one of the phones has a major crack in the glass. Certainly not sent or packaged that way. I’m very particular person and all my phones are always securely covered with otter boxes and there’s not a scratch never mind crack in any of my phones when I send them back in the original iPhone boxes to sell in tact as they are also always packed overly secure. They offered me a sell price of 90% off the flawless agreed price. I said “No, please send me back my phones”. The phones were sent back thrown in a tiny box without the iPhone boxes that I sent them and they were not protected. When I received them from USPS two of the phones had major cracks in them and now they are worthless. Company denied any wrongdoing. They didn’t like the fact that I said send me my phones back so they threw the phones without the original iPhone box that I sent to them in a cardboard box and they were totally damaged in transit because they deny damaging them at their facility. This company is a company that I will never deal with again. I have three late version iPhones that were flawless and worth several hundred dollars and now they are worth zero because of this company. Stay far away "

"I sent my phone to them on 12/6 and received confirmation of their receipt on 12/8. I then heard nothing back from them. I finally contacted them by email on 12/19 and was told that it would take another 5 - 7 days to evaluate my phone (Darry) I also got an email from Michael who said they were having issues with a process and would get back to me in a day. Michael did get back to me with an offer that was 1/4 of the original for a phone that was scratched and still locked to a carrier. The problem with this is that the phone I sent them was used with a leather case, was never dropped, was completely wiped before being sent and has the Simm card removed. I would definitely not recommend using this service ever."
"This was my first time using Buyback Boss to sell my Iphone8 plus which was in pristeen condition. It had no scratches anywhere. The device I submitted was only a couple of months old as the original was damaged and replaced with a brand new one by my insurance carrier and was protected by a heavy duty case and screen protector on it from date purchased from Verizon
Bait and switch on price. NEVER took phone out of the case and yet somehow when they got it it had a bunch of scratches on the sides that now made it lower quality.
It appears that Buyback is obviously short changing seller by claiming that devices have noticeable scratches etc. "- Light Wear: This device has light but noticeable scratching on the body of the device" As such they knocked $30 off their original offer of 151. To top it off when they processed the payment I was charged $4 fee via paypal.
This company is definitely a bait and switch company that takes advantage of people by not giving them what they quoted on new phones."

"They quoted me a price for buying my phone ($622) which was much higher than the phone was selling for, used, on eBay ($560). Already this is "too good to be true" but I decided to give them a shot based on good reviews online.
When they received the phone, they tell me something is hazy in the front facing camera (there has never been an issue I noticed using any of my cameras), and now are quoting me $172. Complete BS. I request the phone to be sent back to me, now worried they are scammy and may not even send the phone back. I said no. They say wait now we'll offer $258 to "save me the time" of shipping back. Scammy.
I said no, give me my phone back. They come back with a $310. Now I'm really worried they're not going to send my phone back.
I said no, they eventually send it back, and I proceed to trade it into Apple for $500+ and they took it without citing any camera issues. Complete waste of me time dealing with this company, super scammy feeling."
