"I don’t think I’ve ever left a company a negative review before. I am very patient & easily pleased. I ordered a lamp on 01/25/20..the page stated it was currently in stock & that there was a one to three week shipping time. After a few weeks of not receiving a shipping notification, I tried calling the company several times. I left voicemail messages that were never returned. I emailed & received a short response that Bowery was waiting on the estimated time of arrival from manufacturer. No time frame was given. So I called the manufacturer directly & was told that the item was currently in stock but Bowery had not placed an order in my behalf. Equipped with this knowledge, I contacted Bowery again with no response. Apparently, they did not want to honor the price on their website, as it was too low for them to make a profit. I then sent an email that I wished to cancel my order, after which I received a quick response stating order cancelled, your card will not be charged. What bothered me more than anything was that they were not honest & forthright about not being able to honor their price & that they led me along & wasted my time for nearly a month. I have since purchased the lamp for a reasonable price with a company that has outstanding customer service!"
