"I found Biblio's listing for a 1973 reprint of the Albertina Handschrift, in stock with Ammareal in France. I ordered the book, paying extra for expedited delivery (5 to 15 days), on 28 March. I received emails advising me that the book had been shipped and a tracking number was provided. The book was delivered on 08 April, which is about half the time a book usually takes to get here (Australia) from Europe. A couple of publishers I can think of may want to look at Ammareal's level of service (four months for a book to get here from the UK, for example)."

The book was unreadable, with the print entirely illegible for the most part.

It appears as though it has been photocopied on the wrong density setting from an old library book and inside the back of the book they had even reproduced the card on which the dates due back are printed.

Although it was sold as being a translation of the bible, it only actually included the first few books of the Old Testament, as far as Ruth.

I don't know who has produced this edition of the book, or for what purpose, but it surely wasn't intended to be used as an actual bible.

I asked for a refund, and although it was approved pending the return of the book, the customer service I received was pretty unfriendly. I was warned that if I didn't include a printout of that email, I wouldn't receive the refund. 3 weeks later and I'm still waiting for my money.

Then emailing me again to ask for feedback was rubbing my nose in it."

"I am fairly new to Biblio. I only recently started using the reseller hub. I was attracted to finding titles I wanted at substantially reduced, used-book prices, as well as attracted to the availability of titles no longer in print making the titles unavailable through regular booksellers and libraries. (Also, I support Amazon.com enough; they do not need my book money.) On my first purchase a couple of resellers got my zip code incorrect. They used a valid zip code for the area, but not the zip code of the Post Office where I receive my mail. By tracking my packages, I was able to see my books were returned to the resellers. I quickly contacted Biblio; they put me in contact with the resellers. Everything turned out fine in the end. I was very please with the response from Biblio and the resellers. I was truly thankful."

This is how you treat your customers is it? To say I'm disappointed is an understatement - furious is more appropriate. I have recieved my refund, I suppose you expect me to be grateful? Well I'm not! I needed THAT BOOK! What am I supposed to do now? A refund isn't going to help me find another one and put it in my hands before 9th March!

You have clearly made absolutely no effort to locate my book. Can't be bothered? Quite how you manage to run your business is beyond me. Its pathetic! Why do you insist on using Asendia, when they are quite literally the worst international courier in the world? The reviews on Trust pilot (among others) speak for themselves, 1.6 stars - bad! But you already know that. They consistently fail. They would try to tell me that its "very rare" they have a problem, but that's a lie. It's just empty words, when the actual statistics tell me everything I need to know. Over 4 5th's of the reviews (over 80%) agree with me. Yet, you continue to use them. You know how inept they are, and I would bet you STILL try to pin blame on the book sellers and NEVER admit any fault yourselves. Well I'm telling you! It IS your fault! You use a very poor courier, YOU chose them. No one made you use them, and yet you continue your partnership with them despite their staggering ineptitude. The seller "Book Moon" did everything they were supposed to do, and provided tracking to the PO box relay location. As per instruction from biblio. Where my book was delivered AND picked up from. Biblio and their affiliated courier have lost this book.
Book sellers BEWARE! These people will ruin your reputation. Buyers too, if you use Biblio prepare to be disappointed."

At first I was a little leery of buying used puzzle books, but the price was so great that I took a chance. So glad I did! With only a very few, very minor, exceptions, they've been as good as new, and at a fraction of the price.

The one time I had a "problem" it turned out to be the PO, not the bookseller. Even so, he graciously refunded my money almost immediately. (When the missing book arrived weeks later, I had to insist that he tell me what I owed him: He felt I should just keep it to make up for my trouble!)

I have also bought many other kinds of books through Biblio, including several I had in my childhood and teens. Great fun for great prices! :-D
