"I've just bought a laptop battery from this outfit, operating on eBay under the seller name of local_silver. The advertisement photo was of a genuine, original (OEM) battery. What arrived had an entirely different label, stating "Replace". This is a form of fraud called "bait & switch". I could have got a replacement battery £10 cheaper, and for all I know they are just selling on replacement batteries for £10 profit each time. My dispute is ongoing and they are fobbing me off. As the seller information locates them in China, I don't hold out much hope of getting my money back."

Purchased a laptop battery from them on Dec. 17, 2011 as a present for my son. Web ad states fast shipping 5 to 7 days, which should have given enough time to receive before Xmas. Two weeks after Xmas, I had to e-mail them about the order to find it hadn't yet shipped. When it did come, it was the wrong battery. Again contacted them and waited another week for a response. They had several questions and only after having to threaten them that I would dispute the order with my credit card company, did they issue a return authorization. The asked for copies of the return shipping paperwork before they would send out the correct battery. Paperwork was sent and another two weeks went by and I again had to write to them. They finally shipped out new battery. It was received on Feb. 23, 2012.
Took 9 weeks to receive the correct item. Not what I call fast shipping."
