"I want to write this review to warn other bass players like myself about this store. I ordered a Yamaha TRB 1006 bass ($849) from them on July 5th, 2007. I heard back from them a delivery date of the end of that month, then a few weeks after that, then a week more, and on and on. I did catch them in lies about the shipping information and have the emails to prove it.

The bass never came. I finally went in for a refund, but they held back 20% which they had not told me at time of order/deposit to be their policy. $169 to make a few phone calls on an 800 line. They called it a "Restock Fee" but nothing was ever taken into stock to be restocked. Those basses come COD so they were never out anything. This charge is not justified. Their only real work was lying, but that seemed to come easily. I called a few months later and asked if that charge could apply to a new order and the answer was "No." Talk about nothing for something.

I live local to them near Seattle. Their local reputation is horrible (+90% of their sales are internet) but I thought I would give them a try since I had known Chad and Evan for so long. I really regret this.

Their merchandise is good quality, but it is their business practices that are not. I did get the bass later through Guitarcenter.com and had it in less than 48 hours.

I have purchased three new basses just this year but not from them. Knowing them means nothing, being a repeat customer means nothing, just that almighty dollar. Caveat Emptor.
