"I ordered 3 fans from Airyear.com on May 21st, 2015 and received an initial confirmation email for my order. I didn't hear anything else until May 25th, when they initiated a refund for 1 fan because they only had 2 in stock. I did receive an email detailing the issue. I sent them an email that day requesting shipping info, asking if I was still receiving the other 2 fans. They sent me tracking information after that. They use an international tracking site called 17track.net that provides pretty useless info. They ship from Hong Kong, so shipping takes up to 15 days to complete, and shipping information can be suddenly updated out of no where. My package went from being in customs in Hong Kong to my front door in 1 day according to the tracking site. I eventually received my order on June 6th. That's 11 business days, or 13 if you count Saturdays because they used USPS once it was in the states, who ships on Saturday.

The shipping was free, and I had done my research ahead of time and knew it was shipping from Hong Kong, so I figured it would take a while for me to receive the order. Nothing against them for that. Also, English obviously isn't their native language, so while emails from them initially sounded off-putting and rude, you can tell it's basically Google translate, so it was just that funny, translated formal talk.

I probably won't use them again, simply because of all the negative reviews I've seen online. Almost every company review site on the first 2 pages of Google search gives Airyear.com terrible ratings. I wasn't burned this time, but that doesn't mean I won't be in the future.

"Unfortunately, I didn't check the ratings before my purchase. I received an order confirmation shortly after completing the online order, then no communication for four days. I sent them an email asking when my item would ship. They responded the next day that the item was out of stock and they were doing a refund. The refund was processed promptly. I will never place an order with airyear again."

"Do not purchase from this company. I ordered a quadcop ter on the 5 December after many emails I raised a complaint with PayPal which is now in progress. The item has still not arrived, I payed extra for tracking post but it just told me that the number they gave me could not be found.
They just kept telling me it was in transit but after PayPal got involved they admitted it was in Singapore and for me to drop the case which I agreed if I received they item in the next week. Still no parcel so ongoing case. G. Cox

"Stay clear if this site.

I ordered an intel motherboard with graphics and got a cheap chinese board with no graphics onboard, no motherboard CD, leads, or manual. Just the board in a box.

They offered me a refund of £8 from the original £44 i paid for the motherboard.

"One month after ordering an item it had still not arrived. Emails to customer service were ignored.

Only once a paypal dispute was opened did they decide to contact me. They claimed the item was 'in the mail' then weeks later, 'was in customs'. No information was provided as to where 'in customs' it was.

Horrible customer service, you will only get your money back if you file claims with Paypal.

DO NOT PURCHASE FROM THIS SELLER

"Hello all.

I'd definitely recommend NOT USING AIRYEAR.COM

I tried to purchase a keyboard and mouse from them over a week ago. I wanted a quick delivery and wanted to keep track of it's postal status so chose to upgrade the delivery Inc tracking. I heard nothing and was unable to view my transaction as it was listed on a 'temporary' account.

I then sent them a polite email to ask for proof of purchase, tracking info and delivery estimate. I waited 2 days and heard nothing (despite their claim that they work 24/7?).
I sent them another email via their website and guess what... no reply again. By this point I was getting worried. I waited another day, was feeling powerless and that it's probably a scam so again, politely emailed ****@**** directly.

Yet again there was no reply. I waited all day and sent them a fourth email at the end of the day. I woke up, checked my emails and unfortunately found yet no reply.

I then went to work and decided to check via PayPal to get an alternative email address. I sent an email (same one) three times to both their email accounts and also opened a case via PayPal. Again I explained that I'd rather we could resolve the issue between ourselves and was truthful that I was increasingly worried that they are running a scam...

Finally, a reply! But that was the end of the good news. They claimed they had 'a day off' and hadn't seen my emails (all week to two accounts via 3 methods as I explained??). They seemed abrupt and annoyed that I'd opened a PayPal case. Sorry but the fact remains that they completely ignored my polite emails (still have copies of all of them) and still hadn't bothered to send it. Aren't they running a business?

The adviser 'Cimo' was very rude and held my money for over a week without my permission, then refunded it to spite me. Congratulations Cimo, you've done you're job very well. My experience of your customer service was very rude, unhelpful, unpolite, unprofessional and (from a customers point of view) an amateur in business.

I would never use them again. They've had more than enough opportunity to resolve the issue, even afterwards. A little bit of good manners goes a long way, and vice-versa with their 'a lot' of bad manners.

Do not use them unless you want money held outside of your bank for no apparent reason. Thanks for reading. Happy shopping elsewhere.
