GPS - Missing in Action

"-- I needed a new GPS so I ordered one from Yummy Electronics through eBay. After a few days I noticed that my GPS had not been shipped so I sent them a question trying to figure out when they were going to ship - no response by the company. -- After 2 days after not receiving an answer I sent them another message again asking when they were going to ship the GPS. I never received any response to my questions and this company never shipped the GPS to me!! -- I eventually received a refund through PayPal but I wasted over 2 weeks and was without a working GPS for that time. -- Based upon my experience I would say avoid Yummy Electronics at all costs. There are a lot of other very good companies out there that ship quickly and respond to customer questions. If I could give them one half star I would."

"Scam Alert. This business is unresponsive. Purchased the wrong item and returned it promptly. I even received an e-mail from a Murtaza Syed, at 331 Lusitano Drive, Sanford, FL 32773 informing me to send it the aforementioned address. Still no refund issued. This company is a business you want to be aware of. They ripped me off and I am sure the next customer is at risk."

"Like many other reviewers, I ordered items and never recieved them. YumDeals website said "processing" for several weeks. Seller was totally unresponsive and I had to use PayPal Resolution Center to get my money back. Thank God for PayPal.

IF I could give a zero, I would. DON'T buy from this seller. You're in for heartbreak.

"I ordered a Shakespeare Am/FM radio antenna for my pontoon boat from Yummy Electronics. They were very reasonable (price) and my antenna was shipped within 24 hrs. just as the it said on their website. The antenna arrived before I expected it and I am very happy with my purchase. I would definitely buy from them again. "

"Must say. I dealt with customer service quite a bit after receiving what was definitely a manufacturer damaged item. They were very prompt and thorough in resolving my problem, and I appreciate their efforts. Also, they seem to process and ship orders very quickly. I will be using Yummy Electronics again in the future."

"SCAM! Beware!
I ordered some items in stock and a couple of days after that got the message that my order has been shipped. However, nothing was delivered and the tracking number indicated nothing was ever shipped.
The seller didn't respond to multiple inquiries and finally I filled the PayPal chargeback request and got refunded under its circumstances.
Bottom line: SCAM!

"I wanted to order this item as a birthday present but Yummy Electronics only allowed it to be shipped to the billing address.

I am sorry I didn't go elsewhere as this item will arrive while I am at work and my spouse will see it.

I will never consider Yummy Electronics again.

"ONE STAR!!!, NOT TWO....Do not do any business with them. Placed two orders, first was "shipped" with no email of a tracking number and basically no confirmation email with ship date and the second was put into "processing" for a week (both were charged within an hour of placing order) and then suddenly it wasn't on my account and the stock amount went back up as if I had never placed an order. Had to email several times stating they they obviously had no interest in sending my order or returning my money. Was refunded on that order and after five emails asking for a tracking number or refund still no response, no tracking number, no refund. To me after all this I feel its a scam website and to stay away at all costs."

"Ordered a product that was listed as available at the time of ordering. Credit card was charged immediately, order went into 'processing' state, no more way to modify or cancel online.
After more than a week I started contacting them through the website, received no response for 4 contact attempts. When I threatened to dispute the charge with my CC company I suddenly got the response that the item is out of stock and how I wanted to proceed.
I asked them for an estimate for when the product was back in stock, again no response to several attempts until again I threatened to dispute.
After that I asked to cancel the order and refund my money, which happened after a few days.
2 weeks later somebody attempted to order $2000 worth of stuff at Woot with the same CC I had used at Yum. Might not be connected...but I have a new credit card now...
Stay away from this company, not worth the hassle. No reputable company will charge your card if the item is not in stock. And they certainly do not respond within 24h...

"I ordered a black Leatherman Surge on 09(18/2012 from them because of the cheap price incl. shipping via USPS.
I paid with paypal, but the item never arrived.

EDIT: I opened a paypal case asking for a refund, which I received. I assume, USPS lost the package. Yumdeals apologized for the inconvenience and tried to make things right by compensating me. As what happened is not their fault, I declined the offer.

"Ordered an item on 5/9/2012, and thus far, there is no information on my order. Though the site states that they respond to emails within 24 hours, I've got two requests in with absolutely NO response.
Update 5-22-2012. Finally received the items ordered, and received an adequate response for the delays. upgrading to 4 stars for their honesty and their good pricing.

"Item listed as in stock on website was actually on backorder, and the company never bothered to notify me of that issue until I emailed them.

After I emailed them, customer support told me that item restocked and shipped out, but item was never shipped. It has been more than a week since I placed my order, and it still has not shipped yet, so much for the "ships in 24 hours" promise on their site.

I would not purchase from this retailer again, and would not recommend them to anyone. I plan on filing a Paypal grievance against YumDeals if I do not receive my item in another week.

EDIT: After sending several emails in an attempt to follow up, with no response, I filed a grievance with Paypal and got my money back. Would not recommend ordering from this retailer.

EDIT 2: Their customer support admitted to messing up my order, and shipped me my item for free. By that time I had already ordered the same item elsewhere to ensure I received it on time, two weeks later than I would have.

"Still not shipped after two weeks even though it's shown "Order Status: Ready To Ship" since the day after I placed order. They agreed to refund, but haven't got that yet either. Now they won't respond to emails.

Edit 5/7/2012. Seller refunded order and made things right. Great customer service once they got back online due to move.
