"I purchased the cutest little fireman style raincoat for my baby brother at this little boutique in manhattan, needles to say that same day it was stolen from me by one of my co-workers. hell bent on replacing it, i tried to locate the same raincoat online because as it was, I bought the last one at the boutique and they weren't ordering anymore. I did a generic google search and found that Yardiac carried it. Without hesitating I purchased the item, thinking I'd succeeded and my brother would look absolutely adorable in his little raincoat. 2 weeks later i had no raincoat but my credit card had been charged in a timely fashion. I called yardiac only to find out that the seller was out of the item and wouldn't be making it anymore. if so, why was I charged for an item that technically doesn't exist? I promptly requested a refund..after two more weeks, still no refund...on Yardiac's end they said they've processed the refund, on my end my credit card statement says otherwise. Getting nowhere i decided to dispute the charge with my bank. They issued a credit and the investigation into the fradulent charge is currently pending. I will never do business with these people again...it sux cause this is the second time its happened to me. Online stores are soooo shady!"

"After many hundreds of transactions on the internet, I never had a problem until I tried to do business with Yardiac.com.

[Day 1] Ordered a window awning on 15-Oct-09 for $137.90 including shipping, paid with credit card. Card was charged for the full amount by Yardiac within minutes, on 15-Oct-09.
[Day 2] Received email order confirmation from Yardiac on 16-Oct-09, saying the order would ship via UPS within 72 hours.
[Day 11] On 26-Oct-09, having seen nothing and heard nothing, I emailed Yardiac to ask status.
[Day 12] On 27-Oct-09, I received a reply from Yardiac, saying that my order would ship on 20-Nov-09 (37 days after order, not 72 hours) due to to "Yardiac is waiting on inventory", i.e., backordered. I immediately replied, same day, 27-Oct-09, requesting that my order be cancelled and that my card be immediately refunded.
[Day 14] Received reply 29-Oct-09 from ****@****, confirming that my order was cancelled: "Your order has been cancelled and has been sent to the credit department for the refund to be issued."
[Day 25] Having neither seen nor heard anything about a refund or credit to my card, I emailed Yardiac 9-Nov-09, inquiring as to the status of my refund.
[Day 28] No reply from Yardiac, and no sign of a refund. Emailed Yardiac again, 12-Nov-09, inquiring as to the status of my refund. I also stated that I would report the matter to my credit card company as a fraudulent charge if I did not hear from them within the day. Exactly 45 minutes later, I had a reply from Yardiac, saying that "our system is down" (apparently it doesn't affect email), apologizing for the inconvenience, and promising to take care of the problem as soon as possible.
[Day 32] No contact from Yardiac, no sign of a refund. Contacted my credit card company 16-Nov-09, flagged the transaction as a fraudulent. Credit card company began an inquiry, said it could take 6 to 8 weeks, but may be cleared up very quickly.
[Day 39] No contact from Yardiac, no sign of a refund. Emailed Yardiac 23-Nov-09, asking status of refund.
[Day 40] Received reply from Yardiac, apologizing again, saying they usually handle refunds within 15 days, promising to take care of the problem ASAP.
[Day 47] No contact from Yardiac, no sign of a refund. Emailed Yardiac 30-Nov-09, asking status of refund.
[Day 50] No reply from Yardiac, no sign of a refund. Emailed Yardiac again 3-Dec-09, asking status of refund. Received notice of "undeliverable email" from postmaster, indicating that my email had apparently been flagged as spam.

So there you have it, as of today, 3-Dec-09. Yardiac took my money, did absolutely nothing for it, gave me absolutely nothing for it, and now won't even bother to reply to an email with an empty promise about a refund. I expect my credit card company will make good on it for me, and then the credit card company will have to eat the $137.90 because it won't be worth their time to try to dig it out of Yardiac. And that, boys and girls, is how you use the internet to scam your way to riches: be sure to do it in small bites.

Do not do business with Yardiac. I never will again.

"I ordered the product on 11/04/09,

I'm writing this on 11/25/09, still no product, vague automated reponses. I got a bogus UPS tracking number on 11/20/09, that indicates 'shipping info received', but the product has never actually been shipped. I've been buying stuff on the web for over 10 years--LOTS of stuff--and had good luck and have faith in the internet. Yardiac.com has been my first real 'scam' and bad experience, which sucks because I believe in the trust of the internet.

"Ordered product on 6/20/09 and credit card charged on 6/22/09. I had to go online to find out they did not have item in stock and it would be until 7/15/09 until ship date. I cancelled on 06/29/09 and was told it would be 7 to 10 days for credit to appear on credit card. However, after 10 days - nothing. I called repeatedly and was told that Credit Manager (Mr. Ambrose) would be contacted about expediting this. Despite request for Mr. Ambrose to personally contact me on at least two occasions, they have done absolutely nothing to keep me notified of the credit, let alone the original backorder. Although I have purchased from this company in the past without incident, I believe the true mark of a company is how they handle "problems" and Yardiac.com has certainly shown that they are poorly equiped to deal with non-order related customer service issues. "

"Ordered merchandise from Yardiac.com on March 15th. My credit card was promptly debited. However, the merchandise had not shipped. Repeated visits to the webite showed shipping dates that continued to be delayed. After several phone calls and lots of patience, I cancelled the order on May 19th. I was advised by Jeff that this credit would take 7 business days to complete. After 7 business days I had not received a credit. I contacted Yardiac once again and spoke with Ellie who advised me that my "adjustment" was sent through on May 27th. It would be another 7 to 10 business days before I would see it. Today is the 10th day and NO credit. Once again, I contacted Yardiac and spoke with Jeff who told me that it would probably be done this weekend because his manager wasn't in and, typically, took care of these things on the weekend. When I asked why I was already told that the adjustment had been sent through, he did not answer the question.

Based on other reviews, I can only speculate, but think this company is having financial difficulty. I am concerned that they will be going out of business with my $800 in thier pocket.

I would NOT work with this company again.

"I purchaed an item from yardiac.com. It did not meet my expectations, so I returned it. Upon doing so, I was charged a 20% return fee, as they stated the equipment was now classified as "used". It was returned in its orginal packaging in its original condition. In my opinion, I would strongly recommend not doing business with this organization, as they do not live up to their posted returns policy."

"Extremely poor customer service and slow shipping. I placed my first order in March 2007. The web order showed the merchandise being shipped. Nothing arrived. Two weeks later I called to be told the merchandise was on back order. Finally received my order almost a month after the order was place. Decided to give them a second chance. Placed an order for an umbrella, in-ground stand and wind stabilizer kit. The base came the next week. The umbrella took almost two weeks to show up, and I have yet to receive the balance of my order. Today is 6/14/07. I have been waiting 7 weeks! The customer service is horrible, and no one can tell me what is happening with my order. I've received excuses including "our warehouse manager quit" to "I can't tell you the status" period. I will never buy from this company again. BUYER BEWARE!"

"I ordered an item for Christmas on 12/5 because the site said the item was "in stock, ships fast." A week later, I contacted customer service because the item had not arrived. I got an e-mail apologizing for the inconvenience and that the item would ship directly from the manufacturer. Yardiac also told me they'd supply a tracking number once they had it.

Another few days goes by, no tracking number, no package. I contacted Yardiac, again, more apologies and a promise they were looking into it. When the order had not arrived by 12/19, I called and left a voice mail during open hours. I never received a call back or any other info, including the tracking number, and no more e-mails from customer service. The item FINALLY arrived on Dec 27 - completely too late for Christmas - and it was not the right color.

Yardiac has good prices and a good selection, they need to get their ordering process straightened out and the customer service people need to be taught that even if the news is bad, never, ever stop communicating with clients who are waiting for updates!
