They have proven to be swift and reliable transport, going around the neighborhood, on commutes in the subway, and have been stashed in gym lockers, tied to the back of motorcycles, and used tocarry groceries. They have required maintenance over the years and the support that we have received from the factory in terms of helpful hints and parts supply has been superb. "Firstly, I love my scooter. It’s smooth to ride and it’s quite fun to rode as well. The only turn off from it is when I’m trying to fold it back up, the mechanism seems to be jammed or frozen for a certain amount of time and then like an hour later, it decides to work again. I might’ve gotten a faulty one, but I’ll be sure to return it."

"It just doesn’t get any better. I’ve ridden my Xootr for about 20 years now, and it’s still an amazing product. Great exercise, easy to transport, and I never fail to get questions and comments. Very efficient exercise and I’ve gone as far as 22 miles in a single “trek.” I now own two just and one stays in my car all Summer in case I find myself in a place where a scooter ride will let me get around where walking just won’t do. I’ve had to have one repaired because, well, I’m not “easy” on my equipment, demanding more than any other scooter could ever deliver. "I’ve bought 3 xootr scooters namely because they’re well built and adult feet can use them with room to spare. Only 1 had some break and the part was replaced quickly.
I’ve also purchased the handcart and bag- actually 2 of them. I use it daily at work. I have had both carts break on me- one or both wheels go wonky after about a year. I tried a cart from HomeDepot and it was $5-$10 cheaper, but the same issue occurred AND the bag doesn’t sit right because the hook cannot centered on anything but a xootr cart. I wish the wheel issue could be prevented but they all begin to turn inward until either the cart will no longer stay upright or it won’t roll."
"I’ve had a Xootr Roma for the past 12 years, it has seen tens of thousands of miles, finally decided to replace it after this long since it’s looking very beat up. It never failed me and I could keep using it for another 12 years, that’s how well built it is; hence, I replaced it with another Xootr. Would be nice if they still used the locking pin but I guess I’ll give the new mechanism a shot. "
"I purchased the Xootr Cruz over 15 years ago. Later I upgraded to the Xootr Street model and gave the Cruz to a friend. She loves it - and it still works.
Today I purchased the 4th gen Xootr MG. It's such an improvement on the already excellent first generation that I couldn't help myself.
The Xootr is a practical and efficient way to get around a city. It's very well built and the design looks amazing. It's really fun to ride.
And the service is excellent.
