"I have been thinking about purchasing one for around 3+ years! My neighbor has one and I see her whipping around running errands and meeting up with friends. I wasn't sure since she is much younger than me, a 54 y.o. grandmother, If I would have the coordination and balance plus, my eyes are SHOT! I received it days before expected! I ordered early afternoon on 04/23 with expected guaranteed arrival on 04/28, It arrived at noon on 25th-most excellent!!! Naturally, weather was crap and realized that I no longer possessed a helmet so I waited until today.

I had a BLAST!!! I was out for 3hrs straight! I figured better take it easy since been a couch potato since 03/17. I plan to utilize this for EVERYTHING, just bought a carrying strap for light grocery runs, and down the road when things open up! It is everything that I hoped it would be outside of my neighbor and site-based on reviews!!! Seriously, told my kid in Canada and hit four friends to seek out and buy so we could glide, get some exercise while social distancing!

I will add, intially may seem like a big investment-especially now! However, I can carry it with me instead of rigging two bike locks on a bike so the riff-raff here in Chitown hopefully doesn't steal it! I want add if its helpful, that I am 5'2" with size 6-6.5 feet so its perfect! I am gonna let my guy friends try "before they buy" just to ensure anyone 5'9" and up would have a comfortable ride since some "talls" have mentioned handlebar height issues. "

I work fulltime at over double minimum wage, but yet make less then $20k/year after taxes and cant afford healthcare. A house, let alone barely a car, is not affordable at my income either. I need transportation to work bad. Public transit is unreliable time wise. Bicycle? A long lasting one is approx $500 plus if I want it electric would be $1500+. It can get stolen, requiring extra GPS tracking or anti-theft on top of cost. Scooter is relatively inexpensive and super portable, non threatening in-town for the most part. I researched many brands. Micro, CityGlide, etc. and I just thought, why not go for the best? I haven't tried any other scooter brands but the CityGlide, Xootr and Razor in my life. Both performed well, but the Xootr is just something extra. Special definitely and well worth the $300 price tag. I finally got around to getting myself one for myself.

Please make an electric version. 40mile realistic range. That way people like me that live in the outskirts of where the pay's at can realistically use scooting as a car-ternative for work travel. Or even somehow make a kick scoot that can handle bad weather!

"I had an issue with the front steering column which a local bike shop could not fix. I sent my XOOTR out to them and within 48 hours received it back, in great working condition. They'd replaced the front. Wonderful and fast service. And of course, I love riding it too!
